Slashdot continues it's trend of releasing news that will shake your beliefs to the core! I thought for sure the previous worm was the last possible one!
Unless they are all in a small bunch you may go through a couple magazines of uzi rounds to get the job done. It's much easier to just take out the whole building at once.
The odds of a grenade jamming are mighty low.
It's part of the game, I say. Only the evil, spawn of satan spawn campers have anything aginst them. Geeting sniped every time you go to the enemy base? Try another route, or run in groups so some of you make it to kill the sniper. There isn't really a anti-spawner technique yet, but a throwing kinfe usually works...
I know I need a new computer when a parking meter has me out classed. Maybe it has a whopping 64 MB ram, but can it run lynx as effectivly as a P133 with some unknown Trident graphics card?
Thanks, Grandpa. Thanks for all the long, laggy memories on this computer.
I doubt apple would care a whole lot, they would take it as a complment to their awesome design technique, but with another naming fiasco, I can't see this kind of abuse lasting long. I'm all for the linux revolution, but not if we have to trick users into using it with identical GUIs and naming systems.

Keillor had this one story of aboy rebelling against his methodist parents, he would always skip church and such, until his dad informed him:
"You know, son, you can take communinion online now, using a methodist modem"
Internet Church might be the thing of the future, but its current state is awful.
Until it broke and then got stolen.
Poor thief must have missed the thief memo a while back. Why look for N-Gages when you can find so many more iPods, which are worth more?
Very nice post. I think it's true that Big Business runs the world right now, and a software union is needed. Free Software Union or somthing. I've often wondered why software devlopers have no union. (I'm still in school, years away from such things) Something more formally organized then the slashdot community, a true union of all coders who think that not every little snippet of code can be universally patented. Specific code can be, I concede, but the concept of something is open.
Unfortunately, entirely in Hindi.
It's part of the new security system. When the code leaks, American script kiddies will be unable to read anything, and thus it will be SECURE*! It's brilliant!
Yeah, but proof of concept viruses are not all that hard to add payloads too. I laugh at all you mac groupies, thinking you don't have to worry about security because "there aren't mac viruses." Even the super-god-like-BSD people have to deal with security once in a while. With all the nerds sending their famalies to macs to keep them safe from viruses, it's only a matter of time before your inbox is clogged with "OSX 10.4 upgrade attached open now" emails along with all the other junk. No OS is perfectly safe out of the box, not even your obsecure OSX. Welcome to patching. Get used to it, or all your Oddly-shapen boxes will are belong to us.
Why don't use linux instead, that's still safe. Just shut off SSH and you'll be fine.

I've used a wide variety of windows streaming things, Windows Media Player, Real, Quicktime, MPEG through winamp, and I have to say I hate Real the most out of all of them. The player is filled with ads, it tries to load at startup even when you tell it not to, and the quality isn't that good. WMP is alright, but I hate to tie a stream down to one OS. I'd recommend a nice stream through the old mp3 codec. Every OS can read it, you can choose your player, and everyone is happy, except the big companies, and no one cares about their profits.
They have done that forever. It works because they change just enough in each sequal to keep it interesting, while keeping the original charm. Most people played the SMB series entire on NES, and many people, myself included, think that SMB3 was better then the original, and much better than SMB2. As long as enough changes between games to make it more then a new set of levels, it works wonders.
Yes, I do. Does it really matter that the latest linux kernel patch, fixing a slew of minor bugs, is annouced right on time? Can a editorial for/against linux in a major paper be delayed 24 hours? I think yes.
He's a forum bot over at Wackiness.org, you send him personal messages and he replies with some sense. If you post at the forums with Fred as the first word, he will rehash your question, along with random phrases from all your posts at the forum, into a semi-sensical statement. Fred 2.0 is my favorite chatterbox. I even wrote some stories about his secret internet life. I leave you with the best of Fred:
Is the short skirts attractive females tend to wear a hard subject? Do you think I am gonna find out THAT too? Gee. What, I you am goop it?

My Advice:
Marry yourself to an american woman
Take a US citizenship
Never go back to France
(Or the same thing with a canadian woman if you like the snow)
I know this has been done, but never preserving the original intent of the French!
Man, that truck dismount is a quality game. Low grade 3d truck crashing was never so fun! Plus, it has a nice soundtrack in the popular ogg format! Owned! I like it.
Sub-orbital giant drop trumps all. Just shoot a flaming arrow into the office and drop the giants.

After what happened to Zero Wing, a lot of people got scared to export games?

So I can finally make secure software for windows by just using the big lock icon? About time security on windows was made easy!
