Is defeinetely UNSCREWING the back of my multi-everything handheld device just so I can stop playing some lousy port of Gex 3d (TM) long enough to 'blootooth' my college exam dealie to the nearest smartprinter that knows my credit card based on my RFID BACKPACK TOOTHPICK DISPENSER!!!
This bloody fake article has tainted my mind! It was just casual enough to make me think it could be real and just chums of Gabe. How could I be so nieve?
I'll never trust an interview link again, gah. I think I'll need a chain to restrain my giddy mouth from saying "but they're going to have incentives to go with the online purchase, really!!".
I don't think you can deny that teh 'prilogy' has been special in it's own way. If you don't think Lucas is Special enough to express his creativity uninhibited, no matter how greedily and possibly self-centeredly he goes about it he is special.
We are all special, in our own ways.
And for some of us, that means making lots of money while turning a comedy relief into a pete the repeat parrot for stupidest things ever caught on film.
Well, nevermind....mod me down already.
As is being evidenced by the current industry shift to IP (e.g. licenced gaming) fun has nothing to do with it.
Case in point, EA. As long as it has enough general cultural media tie ins (Matrix cam, check. Corny movie lines, check.) and licensed music it's "cool". Wheras before the focus was on fun over the IP and how they can exploit it.
Was that they forgot that they were missing some key elements of the actually succsessfull online games. Methinks that MCO just lacked that 'person' connection having you run around as a car all the time and nonesuch.
Obviously, it's important in any communication game to have an avatar you can relate too.
I just throw them all in those big plasic organizer shelvings that college students use.
They're humid all by themselves, so you don't have to worry about static.....
Better yet, put some old unwashed clothing nearby, like where the shelves are in my closet.
But how can someone actually attend meetings on the rules of a game.
Nevermind, I guess I'm just as sad as that is. I'll stop my insult befoer it is fully formed and feel sad.
I would say 'yeah, this could be it!'. Except for the fact that if nintendo really cared about this project they probably wouldn't let them put stuff about collaborating with nintendo up on thier site.
But it does fit very very very well with Iwata's comments, even moreso than the 'virtual boy 2' idea.
Hmm....you know if they made some little pikmin toys......HOLY COW THAT WOULD BE FUN.
silly.
I mean, if you really want to make your own ShefBoy with lcd and your latest version of Smasteroids coded in LL Huegly Basic for Cool People, that's fine.
But this is just so much money, and really, the only real use I see for this is commercial.IE personally constructed amusements/arcade machines with no hardware licencing attatched.
That could be interesting.
That the newer gcc gets, the less people get excited about it. Maybe they should try to spice things up a little bit, maybe name the next one gnu ginac. (e.g. gcc is not a compiler). That'll get them riled up, for sure.
This could pave the way for franchising within online mmg environments. You could have a 'Seltfords' or 'the pinnacle' casino or whatever casinos are known by these days and actually affiliate as an on-line partner.
Actually.........there are so many security issues that a casino is better off just starting thier own mmocg.
I mean, seriosuly. Keep that in teh coffe room with all the 'I just totally recompiled the kernel on my 76 Kaufna Commodore Toaster!
Oh, and don't forget the classic "don't worry, I can just tty in later. Hahah! Get it? TTY, Later?"
Okay, so I'm just trying to see how easy it is to rile these bsd folks....
Yes, I said BACKPACK!.

I think I need a life....
I don't think so.

Methinks it may be going the other way.
In Soviet Russia, Lucasarts get Star Wars FPS Mods Permission.
And you have to listen to it 'via mp3' why?
Obviously, it's important in any communication game to have an avatar you can relate too.
=profit!!!
bwahahaha ahahahahaha I've got you now pesky kids!
Did microsoft already integrate some of this stolen Burst tech into WMP streaming server software? Or even the codec itself? I'm scared.

Anyone want to buy a max payne demo savegame. It's right before the end of the demo. Definetely the coolest part.
Also for sale is a complete collection of half-life savegames from the FIRST time I ever played it through back in the ORIGINAL RELEASE YEAR.
Definetely antiques.
It was great!
Hillarious!!

The illegality of mame is nothing compared to the carelessness and empty void of the IP holders just doing nothing with the fun games of yesteryears.
