RTFA! It's still there people! But if you haven't RTFA and want to spout off something please keep in mind the following: He invented Bittorrent, and his biggest problem is this "research" is based on massive misunderstandings of how Bittorrent actually works.

Wow I don't remember seeing that command anywhere before. Maybe having some kind of moderation system to filter out the crap commands and ban websites for abuse? Really though I don't see my Mom using a command line - typing a word, then pointing and clicking is about the total amount of effort the average joe/janes is willing to commit to computing.
I know it looks wacky, but I'm willing to give it a chance because it may correct my biggest problem with the PS1/2 controller. I found the handles of the PS1/2 controller were too short and instead of supporting the controller with my hand, I was using my index fingers - which would get rather tired after hours of play. Either way if it sucks I'm sure there will be the "old style" controllers out from 3rd party developers in no time.
I was going to make the same post, but you beat me to it.
So to answer the question of the article poster - YES recycled games will continue to be released every year as long as people line up outside EB to buy them.
"In my never ending quest to eliminate the Windows operating system from my life" - Maybe you should try the never ending quest to provide the best available setup. Seriously I love OSS and Linux just as much as the next guy, but people like you only make things harder for everyone else. Is OSS ALWAYS the best choice, the cheapest, the most user friendly? No. Some times it is, some times it isn't. The point of the matter is it sounds like you've been looking for "the best" solution and you can't accept it's on a Windows OS.
So IMHO, stick with MS Terminal Services - it's the best thing out there right now. However secretly I hope you install something else, screw it up and lose your job.
"Seriously, how much different is the new VB.Net?" It's pretty much the same as C# but no braces for code blocks, and you declare variables with the "As" keyword.
So basically it kind of looks like VB, but you can actually do something with it. It's different enough a lot of VB programmers fail to grasp it simply because they've had their hand held for so long with no desire to actually learn any other languages or do anything past the most simple of applications. Note that I said a lot, not all.
This is a feature in the newer versions of Windows Media Player, but I'm not sure if it normalizes over the entire song or not. You might also be able to normalize the volume some by playing with the EQ and lowering the volume of higher pitched sounds.
It's focused on gas emissions, but most of the suggestions are about reducting the energy we use. There is a nice GHG calculator to get an idea were you are starting from.
A note to the many who didn't RTFA - it's a MMO so the character is going to look however the player makes it look.
It is inevitable with MMOs increasing the ways players can customize their characters people are going to make them look like a super hero, or another video game character.
I know this is a terrible analogy but Ford and GM don't get sued for what their customers do after purchasing a car. On the service side of things my phone company doesn't get sued if I use the phone to conduct illegal activities. Why is the creator of the game responsible for the actions of their customers?
"The defect occurs in part of the initial shipment of PSP units and is caused by excess plastic not being completely removed during the molding and manufacturing process of the outer cabinet. As a result, when a button is pressed, it can become caught on the excess plastic and not return fully to its default position."
"This is intentional, and in our oppinion a good design feature."
Doesn't a review of Halo 2 seem a bit, er no make that very redundant? Seriously who hasn't at the very least seen this game being played? This is like doing a review of packing tape, a new device called a 'mouse', or a chair.
On Midgardsormr (home of the Japanese FFXI mafia - they controlled everything including the AH prices) I think it was going for 300k-500k. That was about the same price I paid for my elemental staffs with Black Mage:P

The pay isn't great but for the 2 years I was doing cabling I was in the best shape of my life.

From the article: "Is Lucas milking the cow dry, or could these updates of the classic and new films really enhance the experience?"
The teat started squirting dust a few years ago.
"IIS and asp.NET because if it's not .NET you're nto conforming to the microsoft group think"
I'm sure that was just an uneducated low-blow/joke, but really ASP.NET and C# are very nice to work with and can easily be run on *nix with Mono.
"His wife - Angelina Jolie" Ned's wife is DEAD, insensitive clod!!
I never found the Simpsons that funny to begin with... in fact, it always seemed kind of stupid.
It's ok, my little nephew doesn't get most of the jokes either.
Is Maggie finally going to speak?
I believe Maggie has in one of the halloween episodes, but I'm not 100% sure.
Smithers finally coming out of the closet?
Seriously? I think he's been out of the closet for a while now.
We get to find out where Springfield actually is?
There was an episode that showed the exact location of Springfield in the intro.

I know Santa Clause isn't real, but it's still fun to get excited about x-mas.

Or build a WiFi antenna out of a pringles can and tin foil, then try to intercept the demos from outside the building.

Hey I think I've seen one of these thugs you speak of - here

All of the above.
Slashdot readers have even less sympathy for whiny VB programmer than Microsoft!

I can quit anytime I want to! I just don't want to *twitch*
