it's caled diminishing returns. going up from 1 meg to 10 megs would be a huge benefit, up to 100 megs being a large improvement, but up to a gig only a small improvement for most people and 10 gigs would be almost no improvement.
umm, actually if AOL wanted to replace AIM with a pay service, they could still use an open protocol and open software, nothing prevents them from having paid account verification, If knowing how the software worked meant automatic access to the network, the network is really fucking insecure

I will take your advice, I'm still in College (going into sophomore year) but i know a guy who has/is getting clearance and is going to work for the CIA, I have no "suspicious" ties and have never committed any crimes
If you went throught the trouble of making a swap partition and MOUNTING the NTFS partition it's not going to sneak up on you. I have used knoppix, But it had alot of issues not remembering network settings which should have been stored to my keydrive.
if you already have a linux swap partition or ext2/3 partition then you are not very likely to be using knoppix, and knoppix will not write to an NTFS drive
