    OpenOffice makes powerpoint files better than powerpoint, last semester my group had to make a powerpoint presentation, we each made our parts seperately then merged them, all of them used MS powerpoint and I used OO, my segment was the only part that didn't end up with a retarded swirl effect between slides, also my slides had the least difficulty with formatting after combining.

    well judging from the royalties set ($.25 /device) they aren't making any money off it, although it does require compliance with their exact standard, seems more like they wanted to make sure anyone buying a USB memory card reader or with a built-in multi0reader would actually be able to use it without screwy drivers for each camera, which might conflict if you have two cameras

    Dude, i2Hub is for piracy, I share Linux ISO's, but just about everyone else on there is sharing music and movies (of which I have downloaded a metric shitload) but it does suck balls that ResNet gets slammed so hard you often can't play games (Cat 3 lines don't help)

    I am sharing several gigs of linux ISO's, but only get an occasional download attemt due to shitty Binghamton University connections (my dorm has Cat3 lines in it, and I2 is capped)

    I think Jasc Has the properties setting pretty well done, a little floating title bar that turns into a menu relevant to your current tool when your mouse goes over it, you can also have it stay as a window instead of auto-rollup if you have the space for it

    People always move up (including myself) I used to download single MP3's I liked, Then I moved up to Albums. With more bandwith the natural extension is complete sets (As I Already do with ROMs). People used to DL 125+125 meg TMD movies, now they want the actual unconverted DVD-rip or telespline files

    Well part of that is due to the fact that you can lower your costs by moving your buisness nearer to your customers/supplyers, so it is good for everyone involved if they all move to centralized locations.

    or how about making a worm that goes around nuking the hard drives on machines that are exposed to any vulnerability more than 2 months old or has had a spam relay worm on it more than 2 weeks, alot of morons don't give a flying fuck that their windows boxes are polluting the net by relaying spam (not really the fault of windows/MS, these are the same people who would dbl-click any old RPM while running root if they were forced to learn linux(derr.... the email said to.... chmod ....777...), they will care when Hard drives get nuked or CRT monitors are pushed past their limits/optical drives have their firmware nulled out.

    that's the fucking point, do you think politicians want hoards of ex-Cons voting them out for draconian laws, it's called CYA (Cover your Ass). Until The rest of the population can be convinced that it is an injustice there will be no change.

    As opposed to the warerant-mill judges the FBI already have who give 'em out like candy, this just made it official, the FBI has been using the constitution for toilet paper for decades
