  2. DJ Hero on Music Game Genre On the Decline · · Score: 2, Insightful

DJ Hero looks to be the newest addition to freshen up the genre.

I'm not sure people will find it as "accessible" as guitar hero though due simply to the fact that almost everyone young and old understands the concept of a guitar.

  3. Less driving = lower risk? on California's Revised Pay-As-You-Drive Insurance Draws Continued Objections · · Score: 2, Insightful

Couldn't you say that a driver who drives less has less driver experience than somebody who drives more? Therefore the driver who drives less could be a higher risk?

  16. Re:You're doomed on Bringing Science and Math Into Writing? · · Score: 1

As a child I watched many science/math shows on PBS and CBC(Canadian). 3-2-1 Contact, and a math show (forget it's name) were faves on PBS and a show called The Edison Twins on CBC were all quite entertaining to me.

Book wise, my parents had complete sets of Encyclopaedias and childcraft books that I seemed to read over and over again.

I can't think of any movies that I was really into Science/Math wise, but as far as TV and books... they worked wonders for me.

  17. How does this help? on Fill Out CAPTCHAs, Digitize Books At The Same Time · · Score: -1, Redundant

The typed in text has to be verified against some known text, so wouldn't the source material already have to be known in order to verify that the captcha is correct. If the source text is already known then this process doesn't seem to accomplish anything. Perhaps I'm missing the point.
