"All I know is that when it comes to free email services, sometimes you get what you pay for" Hmmm, if I send that e-mail message body to my dad's pay MSN account, it goes thru...
Then there are the slightly lucky ones that get on the.com bandwagon, get laid off then get a decent paying job with a government contractor because we know someone in the IT department. And mean while, put that hard earned money into a savings account so that one day we can open up a business of our own. But that doesn't happen, because we then meet the girl of our dreams, get married, buy a house, and have kids...
Nah, it'll only be a hybrid if you swaped out the points for HEI ignition. But then again, I'm not sure if the HEI distributors will fit on the pre-67 engines. At least it ain't a Chevy motor.
I was watching a show, I think on the SPEED channel, where they were doing a tour of a car design center (i think GM) There was a big sign at the receptionist's desk that you had to surrender all camera's and camera-phones.
The electrical parts of the Hybrid cars have their own wires/harnesses. You have to see it to understand. I do understand that there would be a slight risk if the car was so mangled that that would cause a concern, but if that happened, the system would most likely melt the wires that it contacted from overload...
The standard place on race cars for electrical cut off is the RR corner, normally on the rear panel. Normally a big red switch. Sometimes a push/pull rod conected to the switch mounted in the trunk. This is because most race cars have their battery mounted in the RR corner of the trunk/boot.
My dad has a Civic Hybrid. All the necessary cabling runs under the car next to the frame rails. If rescuers are haveing to cut that deep, you're SOL anyways. Normally rescuers have to use the jaws of life on doors, and the associated A,B,C pillars. No electricals go thru there, other than side airbag sensors.
Sounds like another internet scare article put out by a 'reputible' source...
It must be a real slow day to post this type of stuff.
Looks like an internet scare tactic article. We're surrounded by bacteria all over the place, the bathroom is the one place I'd expect to be perfectly clean
Can someone please explain to me how listening to 'Beastie Boys' on my iPod will screw up the planes electronics? If the systems are that bad, I'll be driving from now on.
If electronics really were that bad, wouldn't/shouldn't they be forbiden all the time, and not just take offs and landings?
The use of electronics in cars was supposed to make them cheaper not more expensive.
The problem is not the cost of electronics. The problem is the amount of electronics. Back in the day, there was maybe 1 or 2 'black boxes' for emmissions. Now you have a control module for the memory seats, the GPS, the stereo, the climate control, the gauge cluster, the ABS, the airbags, the automatic transmission, the emmissions/fuel injection, etc.
You mean you don't want your 'v!agr.a' How about 'sweet tee.ns sux cox' Or maybe 'h0t m0ms with y0ung studs' [sarcasm]You know those are the best ones. If they weren't so good, the spammers wouldn't go thru all that trouble to misspell the text so that it will go thru the filter and into your mailbox! You're so ungreatful! [/sarcasm]
So what do you do if you have a fuel cell powered laptop and you want/need to fly?

Well, he's sorry. So i guess it's time for a group hug now?...
Couldn't agree with you more. These guys were messing with government property, regardless if it was on puplic land or not.
But if these sensors were in a private area (ie: home, office) then hack away...
...Hey there sweet thing. Wanna come back with me to my folks house, and I'll show you my 92 TBps Router in the basement?
Just come to Washington DC. We got bullshit all over this town.
That's exactly the set up i installed on my 79 Grand Prix. I couldn't use HEI either with my Offenhouser 360* manifold.

You can have Sarah. I want Cat. She's a lot better looking, and has a better personality.

I wonder if this means that the record labels will have more royalties to keep since they can't locate/contact artists.

You're obviously not using your teleporter...
I actually had the same concern.

Sure but would they still charge a fee for using "out of our network" ATMs?
And yet, my poor parents are still stuck with dial up at about 26k, on a good day...
How about instead of going for records, we try to get regular broadband to rural areas...

Or we could be in a marble, on the belt of Orion.
I thought the same thing. I think this was theorized by someone looking to make theories.
If there is a finite line between the universe and whatever else is out there, what is it's shape?
