Great, so I get to wait longer in line while each person ahead of me tries to sync up and use their bluetooth phone. This is the kind of stuff touch-screen were made for. What we have here is a solution looking for a problem.
As much as I'd like to get TV per channel or better yet, per show. I don't think it should be illegal for them to provide service how they want. Nobody NEEDS TV. If you don't like the service, don't pay for it. Why should the government step in? If I had a business I know I wouldn't want Uncle Sam telling me how to sell my product. If this was a story about Linux distros being regulated people would have a totally different attitude. I hate the TV networks as much as anyone but they should have the right to do business as they wish.
Indeed. Just like every other cell phone since forever. I can't think of a major cell phone model that can't be unlocked or bought off ebay with the hack done for you. I'm surprised it took this long for the iphone.
I've gotten fake e-mail from "monster.com" offering me a job. Only the job is a work at home deal and requires me to have a Bank of America account. If I don't have one, I'm suppose sign up for one at their website. An obvious phishing scam, but how many of these things are going out to people who wouldn't know.. who are desperate for a job?
I've since removed my account.. well I actually couldn't find an option on their site to delete it, so I resorted to clearing all my info. monster.com is now in my e-mail's black list.
And don't forget about the Virtual Console. There's over 100 games on there now. For those of us who never had an N64 or other consoles, the VC is a goldmine of great games.
When I worked at a small computer shop we would do the same thing with the system's we sold. Then later when the customer brought in their hosed system, we'd just open the side panel, take the CD out of the bag taped there and pop it in the drive.
I'm pretty sure every developer interested in xbox is using all of those API's. DirectX offers a single collection of API's that handle everything in a consistent manor.
No, you just reduce the number of acts being put on film.
I highly doubt these people have changed their ways just because they can't share it.
Doesn't Bluetooth use the same frequency range as Wifi?
Your right. I didn't bother to watch the videos. That's actually quite impressive!
This technique has nothing to do with ray-tracing.
It's a shader combining a normal map and cube map (both are raster).
Actually, we've had such devices now for quite some time. Check my sig.
There was a guy like that once..

They can only be played from the internal memory. But yes, you can store games on SD Cards.
hehe where's my mod points when I need em?
Agreed. I'd rather have HD resolution then some sparkly lighting effect.
How was that Offtopic? Where's my mod points when I need them? +1 Funny
All my hopes and dreams crushed!
40 years and I still can't find one with a backlight. I can't be the only one who codes in a dimly lit cave.

The last two girls I scored with I met online. Where do people like me fit into their poll?
Or if you enable SMART you also get a warning.
DirectPlay has been well supported by MS. In fact it got a major overhaul in DirectX8 (I believe due to xbox Live).
DirectInput does not support multiple keyboards or mice.
There may be another API that does, I'm not sure.

Indeed, almost all motorcycle speedos read up to 10% fast.
Amen!
