I'll second that, Far Cry MP with less than four people is incredibly boring. You end up running around the map, meeting an enemy every few minutes then running around again.
I guess it helps if you know the map well, then you can meet up in one area.
I agree, I don't care what interface features IE has because I don't have to use it for anything more than simple page testing. I want them to fix their screwed-up rendering engine so I can make better web sites.
Why is everyone talking about CSS3? Do they mean Cascading Style Sheets or is there another CSS? Because W3C CSS3 is still a working draft that is far from completion. No other browser supports besides a few minor things. I do hope that either IE dies or integrates CSS3 immediately when it becomes a recommendation.
There's Magnatune but you'll have to look through a lot of crap to find music you like. Drop Trio are awesome. Also have a look at Kenji Williams' music if you like electronic
Microsoft announced better local searching through documents, email, etc for Longhorn a long time ago through WinFS. Apple's spotlight is nice but it's in no way original, I'm suprised no one has made a decent metadata file search until now.
Then there's Apple Konfabulator clone, great innovation there. Safari 2's RSS view is very nice, but RSS (which was created in 1997) is not what I would call a "new technology".
Build an office suite with a file based database with a GUI and then you can start to attack the MS Access component of MS Office. Until then, you're replicating Star-Office and OpenOffice for some reason (and then trying to sell it for $149 USD on top of that).
Why, when you can use PHP/MySQL?
I was recently subjected to using MS Access' Forms and Reports for a uni assignment. I never, ever want to use that ever again, ever.
Live your life as if you are going to be dead tomorrow.
Oh no, I'm too young to die! Why me? Why? *cries*
You know, a normal person would just delete the files.

Whoa, I never knew it was supposed to be ceramic, I've been pronouncing it ke-ra-mick, like Kermit.

Music is downloadable in FLAC, WAV and MP3.

What are they expecting Microsoft to copy?
From Wikipedia, "This is the equivalent of 4.3 × 1020 (430,000,000,000,000,000,000) unique addresses per square inch of the Earth's surface."
"Hey Good Looking! We'll be back to pick you up later!"
Homer: Oh, he's in for some lovin'!
Does anyone know at what point the resolution becomes finer than the human eye can perceive? Is this monitor there yet?
That would depend on the distance that it's viewed from.
Maybe for OS 11 (OS X1?)...
Er, that would be OS XI, it's a Roman numeral.
*Sigh*, this happens everytime Real is mentioned in an article. It's not really that hilarious when you've seen it 10 times already.
I'm gambling on whether to post AC or not, will I gain or lose karma? Insightful or offtopic?
Who invented the DVD technology? That's the news for nerds.
The Motion Picture Experts Group, Dolby Labs and mostly likely a few others.
Sounds like good future name for Phoenix, Firefly 1.0?
From that news item I thought that archive.org was closing, anyone else?
What if we do <a href="http://www.riaa.com/" title="bunch of pricks">RIAA</a>? Does Google use the title attribute?
It's just a guess but I don't think many people will be bringing CRTs with them.
Wow, if you combine all the redundant jokes into a single post you get one positive mod point!
Thanks to simulation we can all tweak ideas without blowing up prototypes.
I think you'll find Armadillo Aerospace blew up a lot of prototypes.
I think we shoud abandon file extentions altogether and use content-types instead which IIRC is what Mac OS X does.
That is a real person. That model would have been body scanned.
What makes body scanned CG characters so different to a photo of someone?

This propaganda survey assumes that I only go to sleep once a day.
Why not just use the correct content-type (application/xhtml+xml)? AFAIK almost all browsers support it except IE and it's a W3C recommendation.
What is his idea? It sounds to me like a flexible peltier array, what's original about that?
