  5. Asperger Syndrome on Neural Feedback Training as Therapy for ADHD? · · Score: 1

ADHD is what I was diagnosed with in 3rd grade and the school demanded that I take Ritalin.

Was one in the morning, one at lunch. So I took half the dosage that the other ADHD folks did because I threw away my lunch pill because my parents weren't supervising me then.

Since I started taking it at that age I began to stay at home and simply watch TV and play Nintendo instead of going outside and socializing. With this amount of isolation from society and never talking to anybody at school I gradually found it more difficult to interpret body language and emotion (still have this problem to today, but have managed to mask it).

I searched the web when I was in my mid teens for other people that had this problem and ended up coming across Asperger Syndrome. Five years later I talked to my family doctor about my problem (but never said anything about Ritalin) and she agreed.

Anyone think it was caused by Ritalin?

I have a Rogers AT&T (Canada) phone (Pay as you go) and I get charged airtime when someone calls to leave me a message on the voicemail.

So I called up Rogers and asked them to deactive the voicemail, so they did. Now whenever someone calls they get "This costumer needs to setup there voicemail etc etc" and I still get charged airtime! (even when the phone is powered down)

I've called around to all the other cellphone carriers and none of them are this freakin' crazy.

Basically my plan of attack is sell the phone (brand new which seems like a waste) and go with someone like Bell or Telus.

My Kids are always messing up my computer - How do I purchase Deep Freeze for home use and what should I know?

Purchase the Deep freeze Home Edition

You must be aware that that absolutely nothing can be saved to or deleted from a Deep Freeze enabled system. If Deep Freeze is enabled and you save any document, it will simply not be there the next time the system is re-started. There is no way to "recover" saved work, so please make sure that you disable Deep Freeze during a session when you want to makes changes.

There is also no way to recover your Deep Freeze Password, so please ensure that you do not forget or lose it.

If you have more that one partition or fixed drive you can save your data by leaving one or more of them unfrozen. During installation, Deep Freeze will automatically detect that you have more than one fixed drive or partition, and will ask you if you which ones other than C: that you want to "freeze."

Our Deep Freeze Home Edition is identical to Deep Freeze Standard and it operates just like our 60 Day Evaluation Version. Deep Freeze Professional is designed for large deployments and is not available in a home version.

My asymmetrical DSL connection just won't work well with a system like this. I don't have the bandwidth to act as a node that relays data for the sake of maintaining your anonymity. If we all had T3 connections in our home this would be great, but we don't.

    I have a DSL connection with a p2 266, 128MB RAM, Redhat 8.0.

I find that my DSL connection is plenty of bandwidth the only thing that slows me down on Freenet (to the point of being unusable) is that it is written in *shivers* Java. Its a huge memory hog.
