I am a big fan of electric cars but not the big fan of Tesla ever, so invest nothing to TESLA. The 7 seaters with practical drive range is the main attraction to me.
It has many nice features that other cars should catch up.
However, it also has tons of issues. As a car manufacturer and dealer, I feel that their service level is below the industry average. Any main stream car dealers have more professional on servicing its customer.
And, everything to this car is way more expensive than others. And body collision, even small will cost you $5K+ ~ $10K.
Musk spent too much time on other things. He needs more focus on this factory.
I think most Chinese manufacturers follow "what you get what you pay for" principle very well . They can produce product from "high quality" (such as iPhone) to "crap quality" depending on what price and strategy the buyers would accept.
Walmart is infamous on calling all suppliers in one big conference room and taking a face-to-face auction to find out a fool who would accept a ridiculous low unit price but huge amount offer. The quality is just a matter about customer return percentage, who cares?
This gadget looks cool. However, Using ultrasound to improving the taste of wine & spirit like aged ones has been studied for years. It is classified as one of physical aging acceleration approaches and others including microwave, magnetic & electric fields, laser, etc and there is NOT any one approach being approved to improve every products with a general parameter settings. At least I heard of the ultrasound methods have been tested in the spirit produced from my hometown in China and it seems not dramatically improve the taste.
I believe that the major wine & spirit makers HAVE tested & applied for their products by these approaches for many years. In terms of our hometown case, commonly they applied a set of aging acceleration process to all their new products to improve the taste. For example, the one we often drink is mixed by naturally aged spirits with artificial accelerated new spirits in certain percentage. Regarding our experience the taste only has minor differences with the full naturally aged ones.
Instead of hiring those securities. Why not just ask the attendee to be as the security guards based on some simple rules?
For example, in your case, you can randomly divided 60 people into 20 groups with 3 people in each group. One group will check around the whole party about certain interval, say 10 mins, and then switch to the next group. So every player will have get up and take the security responsibilities in every 190 mins (about 3 hours). It is also a good way to force them have a short break to move their fat legs. Also you can make a similar rule based on match results.
Vista is bigger than XP. It's going to stay bigger than XP. We have to make sure it doesn't get bigger still, and that the performance and that the battery life and that the compatibility, we're driving on the things that we need to drive hard to improve. I know we're going to continue to get feedback from people on how long XP should be available. We've got some opinions on that, we've expressed our views.... I'm always interested in hearing from you on these and other issues.
Wow, this is interesting. Some emails coming into my inbox also use very similar words to describe a vista that something of mine will become bigger and longer than I experienced... and they dont need feedback!!!
I am 100% sure, the Chinese army would not do that. To stop such stupid argument, you just need to know one fact (as a bottom line): the STD infection was terrible when the army came to the Tibet 1959 and the Tantra scripts probably didnt mention the receipts of penicillin.
Not all Tibetan exiles are enamoured of the old Shangri-La theocracy. Kim Lewis, who studied healing methods with a Buddhist monk in Berkeley, California, had occasion to talk at length with more than a dozen Tibetan women who lived in the monk's building. When she asked how they felt about returning to their homeland, the sentiment was unanimously negative. At first, Lewis assumed that their reluctance had to do with the Chinese occupation, but they quickly informed her otherwise. They said they were extremely grateful "not to have to marry 4 or 5 men, be pregnant almost all the time," or deal with sexually transmitted diseases contacted from a straying husband. The younger women "were delighted to be getting an education, wanted absolutely nothing to do with any religion, and wondered why Americans were so naive [about Tibet]."
I do know what's sophistry, so I dont use it here. I use the FACT, the fact not from someone's mouth, but the fact everyone can check. Go to the Tibet and do literature review as much as you can. I strongly suggest you do that!!!
Perhaps you should talk to a bona-fide tantric buddhist practitioner before you paint them all with one brush, based on some bizarre cooks collection of papers.
NO! you can read their raw official "scripts" and "guides" directly and examine what I post here one-by-one (highly recommended)!!! The information is there! I use the above links just because it is well organized and written by English. The basic idea of Tantra Buddhism is quite straight forward and clear, but absolutely not "BONA-FIDE". I dont want to give the details here, it is disgusting.
Basically there are three major topics in their "scripts" 1) how to have sex with girls (the first one usually must be a virgin) whilst not feeling any exciting. This is one of the core components of Tantra, although they have full religious explanations about this but may be difficult to understand to you guys. 2) how to call an evil (yes, an evil by any means even by their definition) to kill the enemy. 3) how to use a witch to connect a spirit (sometimes an evil, sometimes others depends on the witch) to make a decision, for example, Palden Lhamo, Dalai Lama's demon and Dorje Shugden, a spirit who Dalai hates very much
The Tibetan rulers may have been cruel, but they weren't trying to systematically wipe out the Tibetan language and culture.
FACT 1: Under their rules, there were only two schools for Lamas and other governors. More than 97% people could not either read nor write their own language. After 1959 revolution the secondary education virtually become compulsory for every tibet children and all the schools in Tibet are bilingual (plus English from the secondary school).
FACT 2: Yes, some parts of their "culture" have been systematically wiped, such as slavery, cruel torture, sexuality discrimination and much more (go to your library and check out more about this). If you think Chinese government should keep such "culture", you can suggest your government back to the medieval first.
Actually I dont think you should believe what I said here. I strongly suggest you travel to Tibet and use your own eyes to check. Also you can go to Dharmsala in India where Dalai lives and Nepal, which is another country now quite against the "culture". Despite considering the above factors, it is still worth to travel to Tibet as the landscape is simply amazing anyway.
Before 1949, 90% Tibetans were almost like slaves. Most of teenager girls were used for those monks for religious sex service. Please read this book for details. Chinese government made them freedom - e.g. repealed the contract to those masters and gave them lands.
On March 20, 1995 there was a poison gas attack in Tokyo's underground system that killed a number of people and injured around 5,500 further victims and shook the world public. It was a sect leader, Shoko Asahara, who gave the command. His teacher, is DALAI LAMA.
A few Tibetan rioters killed many innocent Chinese, even including other Tibetans. If I supported them, I would make myself a part of crime. I have several friends in Tibet. One thing is for sure: most of Chinese Tibetans, who actually have been living there, definitely dont want to go to Iraq for "freedom".
You forget the most important one the AA emphasises: always pick up Russian weapons and drop off your American weapons, the former NEVER jam! Even not mention their GP grenade launcher....
With right antennas, the distance of a wireless Wi-Fi connection usually can be at least 3 miles if sight is clear. (For DIY solution, you can use an optical telescope to align each antenna.)
Additionally, another possible solution is that you can just to apply a couple of extra telephone lines and bonding all of these dial-up connections together. It sounds crazy but as the bottom line it would work no matter if other conditions are met. (and may be cheaper as well).
As the U.S. government, the U.N and most of countries in this world stated, Taiwan is a PROVINCE of China. It is separated from mainland China because of a civil war (called the third civil war between 1945-1949). During that time most Chinese people supported the communist party and banished the KMT party the U.S. supported to Taiwan in 1949.
The communist party were planning to continue attacking KMT in Taiwan as the final war and make the whole China as a single unity. However, the Korean war was broken out and H. Truman asked the U.S. navy _invaded_ (since they did not ask Chinese people if agreed) Taiwan Strait to prevent the communist party's plan. The new government has no choice but sent army to North Korean as a kind of "revenge" leading to a long time hostile status until the end of Vietnam war (all the officers of Vietnam army were trained in China military academies).
Before 1949 after Japanese force surrendered, every Chinese CAN go Taiwan as a RIGHT as go to everywhere in China. Chinese people, even army coming to Taiwan, are to use their rights. So Chinese people called this "the war of unify". It is nothing about ideologies but similar to the civil war in the U.S. How can we say "invade"?
Zhou Hongyi was often titled "The father of Chinese malware"......
The 3721 assistant plugin he created is totally a nightmare, especially in a workgroup environment. I think the only motivation of this lawsuit is about money.
There are some things in America that simply won't work in China. One, he claims, is all you can eat restaraunts. People will just move in until you kick them out. When they have a salad bar, people will build 3 foot high salads (Search for it on Flicker--it's a pretty amazing sight to behold). This also came up when we were discussing selling a house. He was wondering why we clean the house when we leave. We don't have to clean the carpets or drapes, but you just do--often spending quite a bit of money that we don't have to.
We used to clean the rooms because you would be isolated if you did not do so. But very funny things come: Chinese people are told Amercian/western people can do everything "freedomly" if laws didnt mention that. Our laws didnt mention cleaning the house is a must so they simply wont. (Occam's razor applied:-))
If the Chinese people wanted to enjoy the same democracy and human rights that we have in the West.
Nowadays, the highest priority thing most Chinese people really wanted to enjoy like Americans are "real material-rich life" rather than something too abstract without real money coming. Chinese people are far more interesting on how many cars & fashion stuff we can buy; how much money we can get; how many place we can travel to rather than how many rights we obtained.
A high standard of democracy and human rights at the moment are less attactive to us. For example, there are two companies you can go. The first one pay 8 USD a day having many good rights such as you can say anything you want, you can go back to home after 5pm, etc. Another one is simply ask you work all the day more than 12 hours shutting up your mouth but pay you 16 USD a day. Most Chinese people will select the latter even they have lots complains on it.
Another real example is that Taiwan district of China recently has pretty radical progress on such political improvement try to keep a high standards like Amercicans. But it is obvious that their economy going down very quickly and nowadays it heavily depends on Chinese business growth. Many senior mangers just move to Shanghai and never return back.
Many Chinese people, just think most of Taiwan people are fooled by the politicians. And all the bill of each policical movement spent will finally be paid by normal people not politicians. They just want to send you to the battlefield where they never want to. So Chinese people dont want to do any such moments but just earning money, buying 32-inch LCD and watching comdies. That is it.
I read a recent NY times report about google.cn. I must point out one fact. I am pretty sure the 50 precent motivation of the blog guy they mentioned in their article is just try to find a way to be noted by western media (now he is the reporter of N.Y.Times, which is a good payment job position to many Chinese and safe from the government. How good life is like that!) Once you understand my point, reading that NY Times report will become very easy.
By the way, I am pretty curious about readers here: how will choose between gaining more political rights and gaining money? Or more slashdot style: will you to accept offer from evil MS with 300K / year or stick with Linux software development with tiny payment, even you cannot buy a decent medical insurance and pay tution fees for your children? I am just joking here, but this is a very serious question to every body in China.
This is where my making fun of your ignorance and astroturfing stops and your civics lesson begins. I gave them that ability. The government has no "rights". They have only what power is afforded them by the people. Now you explain what rights China has being in Tibet. Better yet don't. Just chew on the fact that it never gets discussed here.
Um, what?... These shitty sentenses were written by a pefect boy "scored 100% on every assignment and test." Wow you win again!!! GO TO WORLD TRADE CENTRE NOW!!!
