  3. When I switched from a green text-only monitor to a Color Graphics Adapter, I thought I was living in the future.

    Also, when I bought my first Levis Jeans on Compuserve in 1989 I thought, this is the way to shop.

    The first moving graphics were awesome as well.

    Then in 1991 we started to buy all our books via Mosaic (on books.com if memory serves) we were already a bit blasé about it.

    I always see the sneezers sniveling and rubbing their running noses, then walk to the toilet and steadying themselves by touching every seat top on the way, the very same spots all the other passengers touch as well on their way to the toilets.

    No need for airborne viruses.

  10. I remember reading the same crap for several years now.

    In Germany in some streets, where traffic is impossible, neighbors put all their old cellphones in the mailbox (near the street) and claim there's a complete traffic stop, to try to move the traffic to another neighborhood, which, I'm sure, does the very same thing.
