    But you need Cortana as part of the OS...Unless it's an educational version of Win10. Plus System Guard is there to protect you komrade & Compatibility services is just to make system stable.

    I've stopped chasing down the useless services that keep getting switched back on & I'm just thankful the (cr)app store has stayed dead so far.

  5. Alltel bought, stripped and dumped a company called Systematics back in the 90's. Mostly because they were desperate to get a grip on the then new booming cell phone market and had no real system capable of handling the tracking and billing. Buying a company that did contract services for banks was the closest they could get. It worked. They got a billing system created, spun off some healthcare software and screwed the employees by selling the rest over to Fiserv. Much $$$ for the board. They later went private, spun the legacy deadweight landlines off into Windstream and then screwed over some more folks by selling to Verizon wireless. And yet again more $$$ for the board w no regard for the viability of the surviving bad smell that was left of the firm. That Windstream still existed was surprising.

    Remember, these are the same things that even New Jersey finally woke up and declared a bad idea.

    Even the (in)famous Airport circle outside of Atlantic City is going away. The diminutive Rt40/Pole Tavern circle is still...around, as is the ever entertaining Red Lion circle. Watching the Somers Point circle "fade" away along with the 30's era bridge into Ocean City has been an amazing example of gov't waste in action.

    The June 7th 1960 BOMARC incident was initially reported to have release "minimal" contamination. This was later found out to be wrong to the extent where everyone involved denied any intentional "misdeeds".

    Sony...Bug Free...I'm speechless. Utterly, even sarcasm fails me.

    On the other notes, SOE has always struck me as a perfect example of how NOT to run online gaming. It took quite a bit of effort to eliminate the lead Everquest had, but by splitting the market & alienating players, they managed to do it. They seem to have followed this pattern more than once as well.

    I'll prob dl the game just to use Smed's/SOE's names as obscenities again.

    Ok, I just actually looked at the game...I can't even stomach the intro movie, I don't want to see gameplay. World of Goo is suddenly a compelling deep game with an interesting plotline.

    A continuation of the clear pattern of English aggression.

    They along with their Canadian minions are a clear and present danger to National Security. We should immediately respond by liberating Canada from the Yoke of Socialism under which they have struggled for so many years. They will welcome our just and correct rule of their impoverished nation.

    We shall then through a series of landing from our bases in France & Norway, liberate England and ultimately place it in a protectorate administered by the Irish & French.

    If running ADP application, don't update Java.

    If archive manager won't load open task manager & kill xxx and xxx launched by archive manager.

    When logging in to the application it will prompt you to update the install. Click NO and call tech support.
