    Been there, done that, put the chip in the right way and it still worked fine.

    I can't remember if it was my AMD 486DX4 or my P200MMX that survived the smoke escape but both served me for many years after.

    Author also seems to believe that the P1 went up to 300Mhz, maybe with N2 cooling but I was under the impression it stopped at 233Mhz, with AMD taking SuperSocket 7 speeds to the 500Mhz mark

    The Master created the Daleks? I was under the impression* that was Davros myself.
    As I understand it The Master is a rouge TimeLord and not associated directly with the Daleks.

    Unless of course you mean K9 created the Daleks in which case your sillyness has been noted.

    Yep, this has been mentioned before, either here or at bsd forums
    The FreeBSD team dropped the tripple dot format when they branched to 3.0 (and switched from AOUT to ELF binaries).
    They still use them from time to time but only for, in my experience, quick bug splatterage. 5.2.1 was released because alot of people found 5.2 increadibly unstable, and the fixes didn't really warrent the label 5.3, the same I beleive is true of 3.5.1.

    The install procedure hasn't changed all that much from 2.2.7, at least I don't think it has, its not often I re-install FBSD, and the last time I did it was over a serial terminal and that was to the 2.2.7 box which had been progressivly build world'ed to 5.2 which eventually got the cleaning it needed

    What do you mean socks5d needs libc.3?

    From the output of his uname -a you can see that he already has a custom kernel, so he knows how to make one :)

    The PS3 is already going to be PS2 compatible, and it will be PS{X|One} compatible. It seems that Sony has started building consoles like intel builds CPUs, with every previous version cast on top of the other.
