Please don't throw all the terms you may not like together like that. While "synergize" is certainly bull, terms like ROI have a very real and a very important meaning.
If you know multiple languages *well*, that means your mind can shift from one language to another and you can think in either language. That same skill is used when you try to explain something to a non-technical person (read: boss).
I'm not sure why, but wind-chimes and ninja hackers reminds me of No One Lives Forever 2.
-"Do you wanna go shopping this weekend?"
-"Can't. I have an assassination."
Sorry, I didn't mean to sound insulting. I just don't like it when people confuse Java with JavaScript because they are completely different. Again, I'm sorry.
Indeed. Although you use the term "farked" incorrectly, your point is nonetheless valid. Either Fark articles are getting a lot more intelligent, or Slashdot articles are losing intelligence. I would rather not try to guess which is happening. Perhaps we should try to predict it with the EGGs.
The parent post will be read by Slashdotters. How many of them would do as it said?
Next time, post that comment somewhere where it could make a difference. Otherwise, you're just preaching to the choir...
Note: we earlier reported that it takes advantage of a php vulnerability. This does not seem to be the case. The worm exploits the 'highlight' bug in phpBB 2.0.10 and earlier. The current version of phpBB (2.0.11, released Nov. 18th) fixes this problem. Nevertheless, its still a good idea to update php.
The huge mechanical arm thing that Batou ripped off of the Yakuza guy could very easily become a reality with this technology and fuel cells. That is something we may have to worry about.
That said, I still think that helping disabled people would still be worth it, no matter what the cons may be.
What the hell would be the point of a "portable IE"? It comes with Windows anyway. The only versions of IE that only required one file were around 2.0 AFAIK.
... you won't be able to find anything like that anytime soon. Although VIA recently released an HDTV chip, but I'm not sure whether that will help or not.
The point was that they couldn't even understand that. Believe me, I know it's a seven.
"Now, you, um, [flips pages] 'L-three-three-one' gamers, erm, I mean gamerZ, need to get this assignment done ASAP."
*shudder*

Oh those darned "eningeers"...

How many Windows users do you think will actually do that? Realistically. Answer: NOT MANY.
There's always www.clamav.net
While most people don't like to hear that, it is true.

I said Extensions, not Preferences. They are two completely different things.

Get Tabbrowser Extensions. Not only does it give you better tab control (and a bug-free single window mode), but it also saves your sessions!
One word: viruses.

It's technically Original Design Manufacturer.
Never mind about the VIA chip. It's the VT1625 and it's an encoder chip, so that won't help you unless you're connecting your computer to your HDTV.

You mean this movie?
Remember what Bert the Turtle does!
