Any public school building could become a sudbury education environment, and all you need to do is retrain the staff and win the blessing of the community.
No class, no requirements - just free time, resources, and a knowledgeable staff. Trusting the students to make mistakes. Sudbury.

Driving is not a time to help someone find a pen. It is time to follow the rules of the road. Don't mess with the rules, just follow them.
If you have other business to deal with, take care of it some other time.
When you care, you hesistate, and when you hesistate, you leave the groove.
It's important to plow forward with a sense of abandonment. Any excess tension, mental or physical, will shut you down - no matter if you are in a concert hall, the golf course, or a tennis court!
I recently found myself cracking a piece of software that I shelled out $150 for (hey, I'm a college student.. it's a lot). It's probably the only complex piece of software that I push to its limits on a regular basis.
I was reinstalling and it said it reached the max number of installs, and I would not be able to save or print until I call them and blah blah. Right, so I got myself a handy crack and that was that.
I'm supposed to call home every time I reinstall? Um, I'm a computer enthusiast. I mess around. No thanks. I'm kinda sorry I even bothered paying for it, since they're just going to piss me off and give me a hard time!
Same card here - worked almost as advertised, however the 9 driver installs took 7 reboots - rediculous. DVD decoding failed.. I needed to use the software player that came with my dvd drive.
The "breakout box" has very fragile pins that, if you are not careful and pull it out at an angle, the pins will bend and you will have to bend them back by hand (pain in the butt). Also, my computer freezes when the cable is removed or plugged in.
In sum, I wish I had gotten an external tuner instead.
In general with audio, "warm" means stronger low frequencies in the sound and "bright" means stronger highs.

Hmm... shouldn't you have said, being optomistic is the best thing you can do?

Lameness filter, you are bad. Why are you making me put this meaningless text into the bottom? I will pretend it's my signature.
Sorry but as someone getting ready to go to school for 2 years to get a masters in library science, with hopes of college library employment,

Sudbury Network
I just spent *my time* enterting data for my neighborhood only to be confronted with error messages.
Even though it told me there was an "error" on the creation of my village, it was created anyway, however I am not recognized as the founder.
Upon attempting to join my neighborhood I was then confronted with more error messages.
Please - don't waste your time like I did. This is alpha software, and that needs to be noted conspicuously.
This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable.
socialization still happens best in a real school and at a real playground
Ahh, yes... segregated by age and ability level, this is definitly the best socialization!
Gotta keep those pesky parents out of the picture... and grandparents, my my - go back to the home!

We have the Zoom palmtop multritrack recorder, and don't forget your Tascam 5 track pocketstudio.
Some decent headphones wouldn't hurt, either. Add a decent microphone and you can do some serious work with this stuff!

Just me?
I have a 20 inch fan that is in use during the night
Your fan reference made me think of something - I sleep much better in the cold.
If it is warm, I will wake up constantly, even though I might not feel very warm or sweaty...

hpotter@hogwarts.edu ... sorry, Harry Potter fan...
Don't ask me if I want to remember a username/password combo until AFTER the login has been successful.
I should have followed the money. I finished my BS in Music Education and found out that nothing really interests me that much.
I should have went for the money and then enjoyed whatever time off from my job as much as possible.
Now I am in a situation where my only option is a job I don't like, that pays almost poverty levels, and makes enormous time demands.
Life sucks... then you die.

Sorry, I forgot to mention another critical issue - the video quality (analog) is noticably blurrier than my many year old Matrox G450.
I'm thinking of just putting the Matrox back in there...

I thought the entire post was a joke but as it turns out, MS Project is a real product!
As it happens - I've been using MS Project to prepare for my masters degree.
