There's no such thing as a bad exchange rate. It's extremely complex, but the actual exchange rate values we use are only interesting in how they change over time. If we decided to measure Canadian Dollars / US Pennies, would our dollar be better off?
My point was: slashdot could just as easily run an article with information from a quarterly report. The article wasn't written for slashdot, so what makes you think that it's intended audience was anyone other than Forbes readers?
A friend of mine helped me out writing a little game/demo. He wrote me a schedule and harassed me on a semi-daily basis. I never finish my hobby projects, but he was so much help that I actually made a pretty good demo, which helped get me my first game industry job.
If you can get people interested, even if they aren't actually contributing to the project, they can be a big motivator.
There have been plenty of multi-processor consoles, the extreme case being Sega Saturn. The PS2 has a setup similar to the DS, using the PS1 cpu as a programmable IO controller.
As far as handhelds, it may be the first with two proper processors, but I haven't really looked into it.
So you appreciate the added value from a DVD, but you don't see any added value in making these games mobile?
If you still own these games, and you see no added value in the re-release, why are you pirating instead of just playing your copies? If you no longer own them, then I have even less sympathy for your argument.
First of all, there's nothing new here, it's exactly what I'd expect someone to write based on current rumours.
"Each core has two symmetric hardware threads (SMT), for a total of six hardware threads available to games."
I take it this is like hyperthreading, but what's with the acronym? A lot of the document has bits like this, which sound like someone who knows just enough about hardware to make up convincing nonsense.
In Canada the sales tax varies by province, from ~7% up to ~15%, and it's never hidden. It's also dependant on products: in some provinces there is no sales tax on groceries, but there is sales tax on prepared foods you buy at the same store.
UT2003 last year was flawless, even without patches.
And those three CDs installed instantly like a console game?
Finally, if you can afford a console, chances are you have a PC too. You're paying twice for basically one appliance. Why bother?
PC and Gaming PC are not the same thing. My PC can run visual studio 2003 and 3ds max at the same time, but I can't play Halo, DX2, or most other new games at a reasonable speed. My xbox can play these same sort of games just fine.

Property Taxes? Strata Fees?
So I get modded down for mentioning IP rights, and you get modded up for misinterpreting a rhetorical question?
Nice

Because Young = Liberal, of course.
Just like gun makers are responsable for what their guns are used for ?
No, not like that at all, actually. Please pay attention.
You may be right, but I don't see where he said 'MPAA' in his post. In fact, he specifically mentioned Ontario (Canada not being the last A in MPAA).
You are a worthless piece of shit.
And you may find yourself behind the wheel of a large automobile.
