    The tricky part is to make it look good though... Just put a chrome grille over it. If you're using a motorcycle radiator, you can usually find a chrome trim kit designed just for it.

    My CPU cooler already has cooling fins. Oh yeah, and you should probably specify an original Beetle, not one of the new ones. VW enthusiasts refer to the modern line of vehicles as the "wasserwagens" because of the liquid cooled engines.

    Not to mention rugged urban use that suits MTBs well, such as hopping curbs and medians, riding down stairs, etc. My road bike would fly into pieces if I tried any of that stuff on it.

    The article on CNN says the NY Fugghetaboutit and NY Noose locks are vulnerable as well. $50, bah, that is nothing. My Kryptonite motorcycle lock MSRPs at $95. Of course it is listed as vulnerable as well. I'll be checking the site to see what they plan on doing about this. I'm not terribly worried though, as my lock is just one layer of security. That extra 30 seconds of fiddling with the lock is time that the alarm is screaming, and the bike's gun toting owner is rapidly closing in on the theif.

    Rosie O'Donnel case in point. She has been very vocal against gun ownership, yet she employs multiple armed guards. If I had several armed guards watching my back, I wouldn't have much use for my concealed carry permit.

    David was only a Tropical Storm. Tropical Storms have winds 74mph. Frances is a category 4 hurricane, with potential to reach category 5. If it makes cat 5, that's over 3 times the wind speed of TS David. BIG difference.

    Changing to un-even values also forced cashiers to use the register to make change. Round numbers were much easier to calculate in one's head, making life much easier for a theif with his/her hand in the drawer. (According to my marketing professor.) This is in addition to the other reasons listed here.
