The game isn't Brain Teasers, it's Brain Training. The point is to stimulate your brain every day with small exercises. At least I think that is the point. It's not supposed to be super hard questions. I know it has things like memorization and multistep mental math. It even has a multistep mental math hard version which might make it a little more of a challenge...but you have to have 17 stamps in your stamp book.
If they don't announce a US release sometime soon I will be picking up a copy from Europe before I wait for it to come here. I mean, I really want it to come to the states but if a version is already out in English I probably won't bother waiting. I've played around with the Japanese version and the only thing keeping me from owning it already is the whole me-not-knowing-Japanese thing.
I think they mean the games will be fun enough to not care about what the specs are. If the games look good/decent and the games are great specs won't really matter.
and I forgot to add that I hate the fact that you can't remove a game from your list that you just played only once on the Xbox and didn't even try to get points on it. It's just sitting there....0 of 1000 points and you can't make it go away unless you rent or buy the game and actually get the points.
Same here with the Call of Duty thing. I would have never gone back to play through it again without the point thing going on.
What if some companies start to create games that really suck but are super easy to get gamer points on. Like...what if they made Snood 2 for the Xbox360 and sold it for $9.99? I'm guessing the game blows ass because it's only $9.99 for the Nintendo DS at Best Buy. Would people buy a crap game for ten bucks just to get a jump on their points by 1000?
Yeah, after reading that I really want to rent King Kong and play through it to get the points. I've only got like 1010 points right now. I need to work on things a bit.
It might suck but I've always had fun with Sexy Parodius as well.
and I don't know if any of these are good or not but you can go to klov.com and search for shooter within game descriptions and it pulls up the first 100...and that only goes to the Ds.
I was going to post the same thing. I have an account and switched it back to a free account but haven't played with it at all in a year or so. I forgot about it until I got the email saying any one that had ever paid for an accuont would still be able to get in free.
You were a Master System person in the days of the NES? How did those 3D glasses work out? I didn't know anyone with a Master System when I was younger.
That's what makes the new Xbox live pretty cool. We've downloaded a few easy to pick up and play games like Geometry Wars and, of all things, Spades. It does seem bad having this brand new system to play something like Spades on but it balances out between that and Call of Duty 2...plus DOA4 will help out as well.
I like Attack of the Show. It's not really about games but it deals with a little bit of everything. Kevin P. keeps it entertaining. They jacked up the schedule though and I haven't watched it since.
I don't think I've ever seen an episode of Xplay that wasn't a rerun.
I've played it but I am unable to read any Japanese at all. The only part of the game I could play was the math part. It will ask simple addition/subtraction/multiplication questions and you write out the answer as fast as you can. From what I could tell there are daily exercises to complete and it has much more than just math problems...I just couldn't read what was going on. It also feels pretty cool holding and viewing the ds sideways. I makes the DS seem like some electronic training book and not a game system at all. I wish they would get a US version out.
Wow, I had no clue about this. Thanks for pointing it out. I have the Axim X50v, Intel 624MHz, 128MBROM 64MB SDRAM, 3.7iVGA. Do you think it would work on this?
Any time I travel down to my parents house I take the DS with me. My mother always asks what new games I have and she always wants to play something. She enjoys Wario Ware, Pac Pix, and her favorite is Trauma Center. My father had me take him to Gamestop to point out Trauma Center. I think he is planning on getting her one along with a DS for Christmas.
I have trouble playing any games in the car but I did take the DS with me on a cruise last week. That was only to play Animal Crossing though. The many drunk nights on the ship caused me to miss a fishing tournament though.:)
Was I the only one that used that tool to design a VMU animation and put the code for it on my webpage so that anyone surfing to the page through a dreamcast would have whatever I wanted appear on the VMU?
I think my page was viewed through the dreamcast browser 10 times...all by me.:(
I kind of like it when I'm playing Joust and a friend or anyone else can look at see what my score is, how many lives I have left and (if in vs mode) how many lives the other player has. It's pretty sweet.
oh, and Geometry Wars Evolved is freaking addicting.
I don't remember a kid asking me to buy him a Han Solo or Gandalf juice....They were always to busy asking me for Star Wars M&Ms or a Burger King Star Wars Watch.
I know that they aren't near as popular as they once were but isn't it because the consoles can do things just as well as arcade games now? Arcades keep trying to adapt too. They've moved onto more specialized games that you can't recreate as well using a home console.
I'm not an industry person, that's just how I see it.
I just wanted to add that my Xbox360 hasn't crashed on me yet. I feel the same way you do, no need to bash "just because". I don't doubt some people are having trouble but, as always, the people will trouble will speak out much more than the people with no trouble at all.
The things I really dislike about the weapons:
When someone is far ahead in first and second place is trying to catch up, third place will wack them back further and further with the red shell while extending the lead for the 1st place player.
Blue shells only blow if you get tagged by someone in last right at the finish or something and 2nd can zoom around you.
I have been playing this game a ton though and I enjoy the heck out of it. I think I'm sitting at something like 97 wins 56 losses. The rival matching system seems to work really well once you've been playing enough to have a decent sized win/loss record.
Would be Dance Dance Revolution - Disney Mix for the PS1. It sells for a pretty decent price and they might make some money off of it. ddr disney

Fight Night Round 3 is pretty damn sweet.

Here in Texas we call that a duncle. To this kid it's his dad and his uncle.

had to do it

"they've shipping 100 Million PS2 consoles."
Engrish?

If you want to have a sweet emblem like me (TIMMY!) or some of the other more detailed ones you can go to this guys page and use his emblem maker. http://www.zsivanys.nl/mkdecal/ It works great but you'll need to try it out with a few different images first. Here is an example image http://img258.imageshack.us/img258/4381/marionds9j k.jpg
