google for turkish bath, and take a look at the palaces saddam had. Rich people spending their wealth(ill gotten or otherwise)is not merely a Western thing. People who wish to kill the infidel will find any reason(valid or imagined slight against them) to do so.
...I actually doubt there have been four million flash-based players sold in total, throughout the history of flash-based players, by every single manufacturer combined.
I actually doubt you could suck down all that Apple brand Kool-aid with your head shoved so far your ass.
Well, my original point was a rebuttal of the statement, "Life is not a competetion..." I don't disagree that Walmarts rapid growth is not troubling much like the robber barons of the early 20th century. I will disagree with the statement that PEOPLE can live without corporations(here I mean large organizations designed to assist in distribution of limited resources in a marketplace), a person could live without this, but as mention in previous posts PEOPLE(large populations) need efficent methods of
producing goods and services. I'll spare everyone the econ 101 lecture on monopolies and waste. I would also agree that the legal fiction that a corporation is a person instead of merely a limited liabilty partnership of many individuals, is also a problem that needs to be fixed else the system will crash.
Hi there, useless ass here. You do know why they call it Capitalism right? The important part is Capital. Now human capital tends to be the most interchangable. My point is with out competition(bigger, beter, faster, more) you get stagnation and decay.
Hi, you must be new here. Let me be the first to welcome you to planet Earth. Here life most certainly is a competition. Now please check your naivete at the door.
Hmmm, as an e30 bmw owner, they are expensive to fix when they break; however, with careful maintence they can last, unlike my parents honda prelude(1988) and acura integra(1987) which though the engine ran well, rusted into oblivion.
No this movie will be splinter cell, only instead of a secret agent it will be a mall rent-a-cop, and he will spend the whole movie trying to catch a wily teenager who is trying to get laid before prom.
You do realize that human greed for wealth and power is what has motivated all those improvements in living conditions. If not read about how successful communism has been.
No, histroy lesson number 1 is, "never get involved in a land war in asia." And the rest of the world is thinking,"Oh no, the US is upsetting the apple cart, and MAD no longer works" thus the probability of a limited nuclear exchange goes up.
Rich old ladies live in gated communities or assisted living homes which tend to have better security. Poor old ladies just make easier targets. I get jokes too.
That killing "living opponents" in a virtual world is better than killing an opponent in the real world? Or what does is say about society as a whole that killing is so much fun? Where is Master Chief's motivation coming from?
I call this the Star Wars book headache scenario. After RotJ, Luke is pretty badass in the force, thus you have to find some lame ass way to keep him out of the action such that he doesn't ruin the story. Also most authors of Star Wars books must invite some Death Star-esque intergalactic super weapon with one massive fatal flaw(otherwise said super weapon would destroy the plot tension).
Ah, such blissful ignorance. We all know that speed limits are set using rational rules with expectations of how fast some large percentile of the traffic can safely move through a given area, and aren't just set arbitrarily.
Congrats, you're now on your way to an MBA, you could also get a job in the finacial sector.

Bionic Commando was a sequel wasn't it?
That you aren't doing your share, so go start killing people and burning crops!
As they say familiarity breeds contempt. Or you could just realize most people(possibly myself included)are horrible people.

It's cheating, but creative cheating.

Man that is a lot of pr0n, you sir are my hero.

I didn't spend all those years playing Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 without learning a little something about how to survive the wastes.

Hey felt really light headed when he jumped up, spilling his Doritos and Mountain Dew all over his lap. Thus he almost passed out.

You're a few years off. See New Deal for when "the United States of American, and as it was founded by its forefathers, ceased to exist."

Hey Yossarian it's Wednesday so death to all modifiers.
Should have gone with a boxer-4 configuration for the engine, the shaking shoulds like the engine is unbalanced, perhaps the ignition map is wrong?

Sounds like it is time to change Oligonicella's Depends brand adult diapers and change the channel to Matlock.
