You make it sound as if the game has been static since release. There have been significant content additions every couple months that carry no extra charge.
MS does not -have- to put anything on XBLA that they don't want to. They could have said 'Sorry, no, that's bullshit' when the deal started and none of this would have happened.
And if they did this then Sony would still have an exclusive on a successful puzzle game. Yes, MS doesn't HAVE to put Lumines on XBLA. But I bet they REALLY wanted to.
Good luck getting 40 hours a week of paid work as a voice-actor, let alone 100. Saying '$125/hr' is VERY misleading, as she very possibly didn't have any other gigs that week.
Performance work is VERY inconsistent, and the big numbers aren't so big when you look at it over time.
Your posts make it pretty obvious that you don't know what you're talking about.
I have seen guild raid's that take 2 hours to organize
That is some horrible time management on the part of guild leadership. We do raid invites 15 minutes before first pull and have no problems.
and 8 hours to do, becuase they have to try it 2-3 times.
Can you define 'it' because the statement doesn't really make sense. Attempting an encounter 2-3 times should take you an hour, tops. (And that's if you've got a lot of downtime between tries) If a group is spending 8 hours at a time trying to defeat a new encounter, I would say 6 of those are wasted effort. After about 2 hours working on the same thing, expect the group to start losing it's edge and getting sloppy. Banging your collective heads against the wall for 8 hours is counter-productive and just implies very poor leadership.
The upcoming expansion has 5, 10, and 25 man content. They stopped developing 40's, and there has never been 60-man content.
BTW, I play in a high-end raiding guild, and we are quite functional with 3-hour raids, 4 times a week. Still a lot, but nothing like these mythical '8-hour 60-man' endeavors you're pulling out of your ass.
They lowered the raid-group cap to 25 players. In addition to that, they are putting in 'endgame' five and ten player instances. Depending on the size of these dungeons, it is very possible that the game will be much more friendly to those with limited playtime.
Last I checked, Sony is also a content distributor. I expect that it is the content side of Sony that pushes all the DRM on the hardware side.
Sony is quite a schizophrenic company. On one side you have the hardware guys trying to make equipment people will buy, and on the other you have content producers trying to make you buy their content...
I looked into RDX, then realized my guild would have to pay for it, and I would have to code it. Sorry, if I'm paying money, I expect the development to be done for me.
As for cheaters: make your own cheat servers and kick the sh*t out of each others, let the 'normal players' have their fun. As far as i care, you still lose even if you win by cheating.
But then it would be a level playing field, and defeat the purpose of cheating.
The beauty of Eve is the player interaction. If you don't get involved with the community, the game is boring as all hell. Alliance politics kept me entertained for the better part of two years.
The downside is that two weeks is just not enough to really see what is possible in the game. If all you did was go back and forth from station to roid, you havn't really touched 99% of what the game has to offer.
Remember kids, more pixels = better game.

Blizzard says that they are no longer developing raid zones for more than 25 people.
And with lvl 70's you should have no trouble 25-manning MC and BWL.
He quoted South Park. That NEVER happens around here...

Agreed. If you want to see a virtual economy in action, Eve is the place to go.
Judging by your handle, I'd say you are biased.

Sex > killing cartoon dragons.
Take a look at how Guild Wars works for a working example of 'streaming' content as needed. The installer fits on a floppy with room to spare.
PopCap is lovin this free publicity though...

Don't forget to take into account all the HR overhead for said GM. Providing benefits and such is expensive.
Don't knock the TOZT
My laptop has been in TX for repair, showing "Parts on order" since 9/5/06.
this thread is useless without...
Wait, wrong website.
I sent my MBP in for repair this week, and it's currently on hold because replacement parts are on order.
I was getting pretty irritated about waiting, but if this is why, I'll survive.
I have no idea what you're talk... HEY LETS GO RIDE BIKES!
Hand me a controller, and I'll get right to work tightening up the graphics.
