Right, because trying to decide how a deranged lone gunman voted and ascribing standard political motives makes so much sense. "On the one hand the right stand for individual and corporate freedom while the left tend to prefer social cohesion and fairer redistribution of wealth so on balance I'm going to get a bunch of guns and kill as many strangers as i can."
The biggest ships can carry 10,000 of them which could provide 100MW for 10 days but would it be possible to persuade a crew and an insurance company that it's fine to sail around with a ship full of charged lithium ion batteries?
Given safer technology it's a great idea. Does your grid need a top up? We'll send a tanker. Charge your batteries where and when electricity is cheap then sail somewhere where it's expensive.
The only thing that will stop this is jamming the signal in prisons and that will need to be under federal control seeing as it's the staff who smuggle most of the phones in.
When you say "KILL ALL NAZI FAGGOTS", are you using faggots as a generic term of abuse or are you referring specifically to homosexual men? If it's the latter then does this mean you don't want to kill non-gay Nazis and if so what's the correct punishment for them? Should they be slapped around a bit or let off with a stiff arm?
In either case, I'm surprised at your language. You should know that faggot as a term of abuse is frowned upon by most people on the left and killing Nazis based on their sexuality would definitely be regarded as discriminatory.
And how would you tell them apart? Ever since Ernst Rohm and his pals came to their sticky ends, gay Nazis have been a bit wary of coming out of the bunker and understandably keep their inclinations secret.
You'd probably be better changing it to "KILL ALL NAZIS" as it would offend fewer people, if you don't feel strongly one way or the other.
Well I hope one or two American patriots would speak up but he more than likely didn't know he was being helped by the Russian government and now he can't admit it because that would diminish his huge victory.
Secretly colluding with a foreign power must be a crime worse than wilful ignorance.
As far as we know, facial recognition has only been used 3 times in public in the UK, the most recent being the Notting Hill Carnival last month. It wasn't a great success with 35 false positives using a database of 500 suspects. They did spot one guy but it turned out he shouldn't have been on the list. The cameras were hidden from the public. Of course the technology will only get better and the country is already stuffed with CCTV cameras.
Once it's good enough to use, as it apparently now is in Moscow, photos of all suspected criminals can be included. Why stop there though? Might as well add everyone with a driver's licence or passport and in those countries which have them, everyone's identity card as well. Now we can recognize nearly every adult.
Miscreants could then be identified and arrested much more efficiently, even if they'd never come in contract with the police before. They could just be sent a summons through the post, in the same way ANPR is used for traffic offences.
Want to arrest those 2,000 people at the illegal demonstration? No problem. No need to send the riot police in (unless you want to). If you're feeling lenient, just send each of them a big fine instead.
Sorry about that, it was either the NSA in retaliation for the story about their spying or the Kremlin after the story about their dirty tricks or maybe those new technical folks we hired from Equifax aren't quite up to speed.
I warned that Vladimir Putin could meddle in our elections nearly three years ago...
I suggested to the commission that the FEC consult with internet and tech experts to discuss how the agencyâ(TM)s current approach may or may not fit with future innovations. Starting this conversation should have been noncontroversial, especially at an agency whose very mission is to inform the public about the sources behind campaign spending.
But my comments were greeted with harassment and death threats stoked by claims by the three Republican commissioners that increased transparency in internet political advertising was censorship. Requiring financial disclosure, they argued, âoecould threaten the continued development of the internetâ(TM)s virtual free marketplace of political ideas and democratic debate.â One commissioner went so far as to tell me that even talking about this subject at the commission would itself âoechill speech.â
Not only was it taboo to suggest that the FEC adapt to the times, the commission was barely interested in enforcing rules already in place. In one instance, Republican commissioners had blocked enforcement of a law that explicitly prohibits foreign interference in U.S. elections, despite clear evidence that foreign nationals had spent large sums of money to influence a California ballot measure. Next, they blocked attempts to strengthen FEC regulations to protect the integrity of our political process when there is evidence of foreign contributions.
You'll notice that the author, the apparently overwhelmingly white and male Peter Lawrence Kane, did not call for the death penalty just for the overwhelmingly white and male leadership structure but for all Equifax employees. Such fair-minded and impartial treatment should surely be encouraged rather than criticized.
If it's that simple, why is the infection so widespread?
serological studies estimate that 30â"50% of the global population has been exposed to and may be chronically infected with T. gondii, although infection rates differ significantly from country to country. For example, previous estimates have shown the highest prevalence of persons infected to be in France, at 84%.
Inb4 jokes about the French.
Cats, unlike dogs or pigs, lick themselves all over, including their little cat bottoms (Want to know the secret to great looking hair? Use new Spittlene, with fresh organic cat saliva). Contamination nowadays is more likely to be: stroke cat, change channel, send text message, wash hands, eat, change volume, check email, eat, so I wondered if stroking cats was a vector, but the same Wikipedia article says, "numerous studies have shown living in a household with a cat is not a significant risk factor for T. gondii infection".
There should be a study into otherwise normal people who come into contact with cats and are converted. "Oh I've never liked cats but ooh look at her cute little tum-tum."
I've lived with cats pretty much all my life and I for one welcome our fluffy overlords. "What's that Tiddles, you prefer the tuna?"
As an atheist I'm sure you appreciate that the devil can be seen just as an external manifestation of a person's desire to do what they feel or have been taught is wrong. The supernatural aspect is optional though convenient scapegoat.

What's the likelihood that the accused is a psychopath or this embryo will become schizophrenic?
Trump has already offered his "warmest condolences" and Pence has offered prayers. What more do you expect them to do?
Right, because trying to decide how a deranged lone gunman voted and ascribing standard political motives makes so much sense. If you're not restricted to open source hardware then try to get your hands on an ATM. These can be very profitable to tinker with.
You can already buy containerized batteries: 2.6MWh per 40 foot container.

In Europe we have these things called cables which can be used to transfer electricity between countries, even between the UK and the continent.
They thought they were in the Mediterranean but something was wrong with their GPS.

Quite a lot of the increase this year came from the investigations into people connected with Trump.

640K is enough for Trump's brain.
They're designing new space suits but can't decide whether to put the corks on strings inside or outside the helmet.
Surely Austronauts or Austranauts?
Why read a book when you could be on Twitter? Books are for losers.
Here's a piece by the former vice-chair of the FEC: How the FEC Turned a Blind Eye to Foreign Meddling

Hey, I'm getting triggered here.
Boris Godunov, Boris Pasternak, Boris Yeltsin, Boris Nemtsov, Boris Berezovsky, Boris Johnson, ...

The "Palestinians" are what we used to call ISIS.
It's hard to argue with someone who shows such understanding.
Fetch my gun Martha, it's them pesky liberal algorithms again.
