The reason your argument falls apart is because people with the money to buy it will STILL download it for free. That is revenue adobe will not see, though it would have otherwise. That's the major problem.
Every corporation should involve the rivals in their equations, however, that doesn't mean they should ONLY factor them in. If Nintendo is truly waiting for whatever Sony does and whenever Sony does it, they will always be a step behind.
When you say "this", are you holding your hands really far apart? Or are you insinuating that breaking into a police station and impersonating an officer of the law is slightly better than killing 6+ cops?
Either you really respect the uniform or you have no regard for human life.
Which I guess is why all the new torrents are encoded in Xvid, right? Xvid would suit this purpose far greater than quicktime as xvid is nice and light and plays in any video player. Quicktime (which i know is a file container, so don't start) has the ugliest player ever.
Oh come on. Unless it affects you in some serious fashion other than "stomped" childhood memories (I'm assuming it isn't.) then just let him. Besides, that's not what the major issue is. The DVD is modifying something without your permission.
Although something tells me Lucas wasn't the one behind this snafu.
If you want to say the Tomahawk is a "one seater commuter car", why not just point everyone to a motorcycle? The tomahawk is not really the first thing that pops into my head when I think single person vehicle.
Thing is, that's not spam, that's just advertising. Spam would be something that the end recipient thinks could be a valid message (e-mail, phone call, letter, etc) but turns out to be an advertisement. Undoubtedly you're right about the dubious marketing, it's just not spam.
Somebody mod this guy down. All the GTA games are available on computer and there is no reason to suspect the next one won't be. 3 informative? More like -1 Can't extrapolate.
Well, that might be true in your country but here in the US, Microsoft has patented 0, 1, 40 and 64. Just in case you were wondering, this post cost me 40$.
Seems like it would be simple enough for mozilla to have a common folder for usage with all the programs. I think they have install directories and preferences (data too) stored in separate folders, but there's 3 programs for them to use. That means 6 folders. If they kept the preferences folders unified, that should amount to a huge benefit. Of course, IANAP, so I could be wrong. Or maybe I'm stating the obvious...
To a newb, that's not too simple. I'm not saying it's not simple to you, or even that you shouldn't use that word, but just that it's indicative of how Linux has a ways to go on the usability front.

I don't know about playing a portable ps2 for 5 minutes, but I'm wagering no one finds it too important.
grand theft auto london = gta... 1.5?
They made fun of you too, huh?
I'm pretty sure Milo is Krotonese...

Wow. Parent is astoundingly right.
I took the advanced bad cuban accent course and watched Scarface 3 times.

What's wrong with the power glove? It's soooo bad.
That should be seven people... unless you're using fuzzy math :)

Advantage: Xvid.
You had to post this just as I was about to start my homework? *sigh*

So I take it you aren't a fan of the G-G-G-G-G-G Unit?

I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention... was the the question?

Simply...
