im planning to do a little wardriving my self when time permits,

couldnt this be used in cellphones, if i could get my hands on just the basic tools and components needed for a cellphone, i definetely would be trying to make a linux cellphone,

why dont you check out nokia forums? there is a lot of free SDk fot theri phones and you can get a lot oh help for whatever you are devloping, about the phone, get one with Symbian, preferably nokia 6600 og Sony-ericsson p900, the n-gage will do, but not in functionality only beacuse of the symbian
i read a review in a magazine about ethernet through the powerlines in ones house, that i could see as an practical application, not over the general powerlines, though some local power companies here in Denmark has and still are testing BPL

here in cozy little denmark we have two majoy ISPs, Cybercity and TDC, and theyre having a pricewar at the moment so all customers are receiving free upgrades, i think they are somehow encouraging us to be more online in denmark
example: tdc lowers prices, cybercity upgrades all 512Kb/sec acounts to 1MB accounts (only 128 KB/sec upload though)

i got the n-gage, and its just like the 6600 but without the camera, so if you can survive the bad talk thats been around this phone, its a great buy
