  1. After conversion....How do you get it on the PSP? on PSPCasting · · Score: 2, Interesting

Do you have to burn a mini CD-R / DVD+-R?

Or do you have to connect the PSP to your PC to upload it to it?

Or can you just save it to a memory stick and put in the PSP which will automatically recognize it and play it?

GameMaker is a free/shareware development kit that has syntax very simular to C++.

It is windoze only and has its limits, however it is a great starting point to learn about how games work.
It is mainly 2D based programming, but since the release of 6.0, Mark Overmars (its creator) added quite a bit of 3D functionality.
There is even a tutorial for making your own basic FPS, but from what I've seen on the forums, some people have figured out how to do some really cool stuff with it.

I mean, say a ship had taken some damage in space and its air and water leaked out, wouldn't it just freeze around the ship?

Then you add any dust particles that it encounters sticking to it so that over thousands of years, it just ends up looking like the dirty ice balls we all see through our telescopes.

I know it sounds all sci-fi and stuff, but I wouldn't be surprised if we find some ancient fossilized life on that thing (simple or complex).

I also wonder how much it would take of these to keep a battery charged in a car. It could further improve gas milage on hybrid cars (at least during the day anyway).

I may get modded offtopic for this, but I noticed that some people who work in toystores and gameshops have been hoarding PSP's to sell on eBay.

I was in a KayBee Toys yesterday at the local mall. The lady in front of me asked about getting a PSP and the guy working the counter said there was a great shortage and that they were going for over $500 on eBay. He said he was glad that he grabbed the 2 he got the moment they came in and is thinking about selling them for big bucks eBay because he knows that people will pay it.

Another effect that is fun to mess with is overlaying the same footage over itself but timeshifted a few seconds. As long as the camera is sitting still on a tripod locked into place, it should work out nicely. :-)
