All I have to say is if you really want something, everything has a price, and if you want to set a precedent, you find out which judges are going to be on that day, and be sure to set up camp until you can figure out how or what they would accept to rule in your favor. Precedent is everything in the US, especially in cases involving copyright infringement....I am sure this is another one of those cases.

I am not sure how to take what you are saying, most posted documents tend to come from "insiders" of which would need easy access to post most materials, is it to say the american breaches are easier to master then say breach of security in iran or any other country, maybe so, but i doubt really it has to do with anti american statement.
You work for x company and can come across some sensitive materials, you figure if you post it because the people have a right to know, and that all that might happen to you is a slap on the wrist or maybe some jail time, you figure it might be ok to do so, however, in other countries, the penalty is death, so even if they get these documents, they might not have access to internet as readily as here, or might want to avoid a death penalty for their treason.
Amercians are also more confident when it comes to these things, figuring they have a gift they need to protect (freedom) and they tend to use that to drive themselves to do what's right more often then not.
Too much wool gets pulled over our eyes by these banking cos. which are obviously closely tied to our economy so therefor governments will give a lot of leeway, much more then you could ever imagine. For once we shall see just how much leeway they get, and just how big some of the blunders have been. Would also be nice for us to develop a committee that can govern these entities separately then regular cos and present government bodies, as such, too many greased palms are making these errors never see the light of day, yet can all be too dangerous and even catastrophic to our economy at times.
The fact that for a few minutes all packets were being rerouted to china and then sent back to its final destination means a good packet sniffer will give you lots of info, as well, the government now has some pretty big super computers at their disposal, as well as being the first to show ASH1 was able to be broken....it all adds up.
The big boys are duking it out, nice to see some damage instead of the grandmother downloading a music mp3 and having to pay 50,000$. This is more of what the patent trolls were meant for, not for the end user not making money off the file sharing with another individual.

Not sure why we have to charge at home, do we gas up at home, so make it illegal to power your car from home, (sort of like when it is illegal to water your lawn during summer drought days) and make the charging stations off the grids totally, letting the power co deal with it, no use bringing down their grids and leaving us all vulnerable, just be smart about it, and set up charging stations, to use special plugins which you force all car vendors to install, (canadian km vs. american miles) it can be done, that way no house will drain the grid, and only charging stations which will be properly built not to over strain the grid will power up the cars.

They have to prove the code was made from their code, how can they do this, unless they have access to this code, most others reverse engineer the stuff, why this case only where they think it impossible to do this???
I agree with your here, there is a sort of mini adrenalin rush from trying to deal with a quick response situation which is what happens often with doctors in emergency, and nurses, etc...after awhile, ordinary life is just no fun, so you look for those deadlines, patients, that really push you further....
Unfortunately, if you keep that pace, you die an early death, I am noticing how much quicker the grey set in when i took a high stress job, where as before, you could hardly tell my age, even now, people do not really believe I am the age i say, however, with the grey it gets a bit hard to hide...
Stress, whether from work or at home, should be delt with to not be a permanent part of your life...i am aiming for that goal in the new year.
Most companies write it in the clause in black and white, any code developed during company time is property of their company. Usually this means even during your breaks and what not....so if you really want to separate your coding time from company time, then do it at home. This ensures they can not copy your code, as it never gets into their hands!
