I've ended up going to a small liberal arts college, where I'm likely to end up with a BA in CS with a minor in music (a second BA in music is possible but not likely). Is there anything that makes a Bachelor of Arts more or less appealing than a Bachelor of Sciences to an employer?
I'm getting really tired of all the bashing and doomsaying Nintendo gets when any little thing doesn't work perfectly for them - or even when it does. Nintendo's in the black? Nope, they're going to start losing money eventually. The latest Zelda sold millions of copies? It's still less than Ocarina of Time, which means they're going to fall before long! Ugh.
1) Remove all warning labels on products.
2) Don't let anyone sue a company for something they caused themself. (i.e. use common sense)
3) Let Darwinism take over.
How about your first two fingers, then? I've loved the two of those I've had for a few years now (only got a second one when we got a second computer), and they're actually great for FPS games. Only problem I've had is that I can't draw at all with it in Photoshop.
That's (hopefully) coming in the third installment, as "unoffical remixes" were mentioned at the end of this article.
I disagree with the article about the Brink of Time CD being bad, too. Okay, maybe a lot of people don't like acid jazz, but that doesn't mean it isn't well-made.
Have you ever seen someone raised on IM try to write a coherent longhand letter with proper spelling, structure and punctuation?
*raises hand*
It's easy for me to do something like that, but then again I never use shorthand (plz, thx, brb, etc.) in IMs unless it's in a sarcastic or mocking context. It's not the medium, it's the people using it.
"Billy, do you want to walk your dog?"
"No thanks, mom. I'd rather make out with my Monroebot!"
"Billy, do you want to get a paper route and earn some extra cash?"
"No thanks, dad. I'd rather make out with my Monroebot!"
"Billy, do you want to come over tonight? We can make out together!"
"Gee, Mavis, your house is across the street. That's an awfully long way to go for making out."
I've been playing MUDs for about 8 or 9 years now, and MMOs for maybe half that. I've found that the only two things the latter are better at are
1. Graphics (obviously) and
2. Sheer numbers
For everything else, from combat to PVP to player housing, I've found some MUD that's done it better. If I found a MMORPG that was nothing more than a graphical conversion of one of my favorite MUDs (say, DragonRealms), I'd be there in an instant. I have to also wonder how many additional people would try it out then, when they wouldn't give consideration to a MUD.
Okay, with only two extensions installed (adblock and noscript), one Firefox window open with 18 tabs takes up a third of the memory (~69MB) that my Opera window with 7 tabs does (~207MB). So I guess I could afford to install a few more memory-hogging extensions then.

But I thought America's wang was Florida.
and Ochotonidae (pikas).
I didn't know Pokémon was that popular.
I don't have air, though. But on the flip side, heating costs are lower in the winter because of the same thing.
What Would Jesus Play?
This.
They contribute to low attention span, impatience, and quickness to boredom.
That's because you're letting them play an FPS before an RPG.
..how is a bot (particularly in an RPG) unbeatable?
..so they're working on developing an antivirus, then? Time to call Norton and McAfee!

Sounds like it, given the game you mentioned doesn't exist.

..why is Netscape's browser page the first result?
Thumbs just aren't as agile as an entire hand.

Nearly 100% of ,/ posters are boring and smelly animals.
Good thing I don't post on Commaslash, then.

I didn't think Link could hold that many at once.
Does this mean Google can now sue all the porn sites with ads reading "Hot sexy singles are waiting for you in [your location]!"
Whoa. That just makes me wonder how many other useful shortcuts I've completely missed.

Only if he was a donkey.
Assuming the rabbit actually was Bun-bun, I doubt it would have much trouble defending itself from anyone.
