  1. High latency on WiMax Is Finally Coming — Here's How It Performs · · Score: 2, Informative

I have Clearwire up here in Washington state and while i connect at 1.1mbs on my up to 1.5 mbs connection i have horrible latency due to it being a wireless connection i ping 130ms to google and get auto kicked from online servers for having too high of a ping. I would definitely agree with the final sentence in the article "If your main use is for video downloads and 3D gaming, that's another story. "

  7. Is it any faster on RSSOwl 1.2 Released · · Score: 3, Insightful

The problems i've had with a lot of rss readers is that they're SLOW because they use an xml database (opml file) the reader i use uses sql-lite or someother sql database for it's storage and while that causes problems when you shutdown the process without exiting properly it makes for an extermely fast rss reader.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr_Who A time lord can be regenerate his body up to 12 times. "It is also revealed that the Doctor has the ability to "regenerate" his body when he dies, something he can do twelve times. The production team created this concept to allow for re-casting of the part when an actor wanted to leave or otherwise needed to be replaced. Prior to the 2005 revival, the regeneration was always worked into the storyline. The new series begins with the Doctor already regenerated and it is unclear if we will see a regeneration scene in flashback or otherwise."

The fact that i have to use internet explorer to me is not the greatest idea. Secondly i refuse to install the interactual player when my dvd-drive came with better software and yet i still prefer Media Player Classic for dvd playback. Awesome concept the fact that i have to install software to get it to work is not that great.

My verdict: keep it but realize that some of us refuse to install software for that functionality.

Actually the lan center by my house runs from 12pm-1am that's 13 hours of opperation so that is 13hours a day times 7 days a week that is:

    91 hours a week
    364 hours a month.

    $1,000,000/$5 =200,000
Divide by 300 (still using your math)
    that's 667 hours per machine

667/364= less than 2 months to pay it off.
