    We won't ever get to that date with 32-bit UNIX systems, because it's not large enough to hold that number. The highest it will be able to go to is 2147483647, which is GMT 03:14:07, Tuesday, January 19, 2038

    Actually, it is for me. I'm a IT Major in college, and we're partnered with the MSDNAA, so I get a lot of Microsoft products for free.

    The biggest area in this is e-mail, stock quotes, and other small online transactions. Not downloading files from BitTorrent.

    I can probably think of about 500 different places to hide a mini-ATX board in about an hour, so who cares? I mean, if they did something that not many people can do, that's one thing. But throwing a motherboard and components into a suitcase is nothing to get excited about. Why did this make it to the front page of slashdot?

    I'm sure they have a lot of inappropriate comments in their code, but that's not the real reason why they won't open their code up.

    That sounds like the lamest scapegoat...ever. Hell, I might start using "The dog ate my thesis paper" in a few months, and when the teacher glares at me, I'll just say "Well, Microsoft has naughty comments in their code...comeon, gimme a break!"

    And I don't even HAVE a dog!

    Just being funny. But I'm sure that inappropriate comments isn't the true reason.
