I also disagree with you on converting with this method as maybe he is drinking it for something other than caffeine, such as taste or just having something to drink.

There are a ton of great games for the cube, as long as you can give them a chance you will love them.

The Pikmin series is my favorite (The closest thing that I can compare it to is a cross between an RTS and 3rd person game). The Metroid Prime series is excelent. If your into RPG's Tales of Symphone is a great game, and lets not forget the most visually impressive console game to date, Resident Evil 4.

Where the cube really shines is in "party" games, there is nothing like pummeling a foe in Super Smas Bros. and then proceeding to turn and laugh in their face. If you don't mind spending the money on some hardware, Donkey Konga is a highly adictive game, its just not the same without the bongos though, so your gonne need to fork out some cash for them. You also have Geist (out on august 15th) and Zelda as some good upcoming releases.

The original Pikmin has gone players choice I believe, which should have the price tag of $20 on it. While the original was harder, mostly due to the 30 day(not real days, game days) limit you had to complete the game. On the other hand, Pikmin 2 added multiplayer options, 2 new colors of pikmin, and randomly generated dungeons(so things don't get too stale). Pikmin 2 seems easier than the original, but mostly because you have all the time you want to complete your task, so you really don't have to rush into things getting all your pikmin killed. In my opinion the Pikmin series is a must have if you own the gamecube, players who can look past the no blood factor will find some amazing gameplay and strategy underneath the not so mature graphics. Give it a rent, or go and buy one of them, you won't be dissapointed.

Actually most DS games are much cheaper than console games. A majority of them were going at $30 on launch. I have seen some games which are not yet released that were quoted with higher prices, but that isn't really trustworthy. Madden I believe was going for $40, which is still lower than the $50-$60 that it launched for the consoles.

I can tell you how much physical security can hurt a network from experience, in college I took a computer security corse, in which my main paper was on Windows XP security (or lack thereof). After doing research and all I became highly interested in it, and of corse being college students we decided to see how far we could get into our college's network. It started off with me simply rebooting a network computer with a DOS boot disk with NTFS reading capabilites, from there I stole the sam file, and ran it into l0phtcrack. Now l0phtcrack takes a long time to run completely (give or take 2 months on an athlon xp 1900+). I then came across a simple program that looked like the windows 2k lock screen, so we set that up and used some social engineering skills to trick a student aid into "unlocking" the computer for us. Now in the end I would have been able to crack the password anyways, since I had access to the bios settings, but I ask how can a college stop something from this from happening? After all student aids may need those privledges depending upon what they are assigned to do.

  17. Re:Only a misdemeanor? on Student Logs Teachers Keystrokes · · Score: 1

At my college, CS majors had to take some CIS courses, and they were quite boring and overly easy for us. So we used to spoof netsend messages to kids who sat in front of us, send them messages from "Anti-Virus Scanner" asking them to reboot the computer because a virus was just removed and it was humorous watching the entire front row restarting their computers over and over again. It got to the point where eventually one of the kids figured out that we were using netsend and would spam the room with "Did you send that to me?" messages, so we decided to start responding with the teacher's computer name and telling him to pay attention, this all ended when he responded back to the spoofed address of the teachers computer, needless to say the teacher was not happy, funny thing is that the dumbass was stupid enough to send it w/o spoofing his computer name and the teacher used a projector to show examples to the class, so everyone knew that he did it.

    1. It just doesn't make sense to buy 2 gba's and 1 game, even if the kids share the game you always have an idle gba
    2. Why doesn't the guy ever say where the game came from, is he hiding something, or did they not include that part in the script they gave him?
    3. Why on earth does that little girl know the f word already, or was that in the script too?

Now, I know that I can buy monster's inc. and flash the cart with whatever I want and take it back to EB, and more than likely they would not notice. Then someone would eventually buy it as an used game, but if this was the case, why wasn't a store mentioned? So I conclude that either this guy bought the games from a shady source (because he was too cheap to buy the real deal, or too stupid to understand that there may be a difference) or that the story is entirely made up.
