    C3P0 anyone??

  2. Re:No Trailer... on Matrix Reloaded Trailer Online · · Score: 2

I liked ep2 as well, i thought that there would be somewhere on slash to talk about it tho??

  3. Re:AFX is a fine example.. on Music Meets Steganography · · Score: 2

I agree with your sentiments, have loved afx for a long time now. But don't be too proud of your weird music collection. I have a friend with a huge music collection, and one of the more normal albums he owns is afx. Oh well, people have never really had good taste!

  4. Re:Good copy protection on Music Meets Steganography · · Score: 2

    Personally i would go further...

Britney Spears hasn't started producing music yet, which she need to do, unless she encodes her pictures into others peoples music!

You were suckered in. You must have downloaded a different movie, and someone called it Blow...haha.

  7. Re:Bootlegs are a Way of Life in Asia on Bootleg Star Wars AotC Debuts on Internet · · Score: 2

The copies are way good. Its more like going to the cinema in your own home, even more so than those adds about home theater systems. You get laugh track, eaters, talkers, people walking into view. You usually have to pay $10 for all this extra stuff!

  8. Re:Microsoft is very smart. on Microsoft vs. Northwest Schools Part II · · Score: 2

  12. I too... on Periodic Table Table · · Score: 5, Funny

am constructing a Periodic Table, and i am just short of a few elemnets, Au and Ag, so if anybody has any spare, can they send them to me. Perferably in an appropriate conatiner, say a large truck.

Here we can see Theo Gray hard at work.

  14. Re:$114 million for the weekend? on Spidey Knocks Out Harry Potter at Box Office · · Score: 3, Funny

The movie going public is fairly predictable as a whole,

Just like the sheep in my paddock... funny that!

  15. Re:Isnt it funny on Spidey Knocks Out Harry Potter at Box Office · · Score: 2

You are completely wrong. It IS so cool that so many people like the same stupid shit that I like. It almost makes me feel loved!

  16. Re:This number is meaningless on Spidey Knocks Out Harry Potter at Box Office · · Score: 2

If you compare the IQ of the population of the USA at the two different times, you get an even more impressive result for E.T. as well.

  17. Re:"Free speech" and corporation slaves on Nike Denied First Amendment Defense · · Score: 2

Perhaps France could have that capability too, and could sue websites that sell illegal Nazi memorabilia even if the website is based outside of the country.

Your analogy is flawed. What if you were an American, and you raped or murdered someone overseas, then come back to America. Should you be charged?? This is a more correct analogy.

  18. Re:Heh.. on Nike Denied First Amendment Defense · · Score: 2

This IS the problem for me. Nike actually make really good shoes, the most comfortable shoes. But there actions are morally reprehensible. I mean, they charge enough for there shoes, surely they don.t have to enslave people to make them?

  19. Re:Plenty in Ouvre; Indifferent about plug pulling on Matt Groening on Futurama, Simpsons and Fox · · Score: 2

I take it as they are just seeing how stupid the public is, and deliberately making worse episodes. It's like a bet, how shit can they go, and people will still watch them!

Don't worry, im pretty sure they are close to the bottom now though.

  20. Re:Its not a troll, its a very good point... on AOL-Time Warner's Money Pit · · Score: 3, Insightful

The point that your missing is that things could have been worse for the two companies left alone. One big company might not be able to increase "organic growth", but might actually be able to survive. This sort of assumes that if there was no merger, things would go along rosily!

  21. How do you make money? on An interview with Ad-Aware's Nicholas Stark · · Score: 5, Funny

We do offer an enhanced version of Ad-Aware called Ad-Aware Plus, [which costs $15]. But money is not the primary goal and has never been; it's mainly used to pay the server and bandwidth costs. We all have "regular" jobs or are students, and do this in our spare time (although it uses up a lot).

Perhaps if they included some sort of advertising program with ad-aware, they could make some real money!
