    amazing thing.

    I loved that game, but i used it so much that the floppy died. :'( I could never finish it waaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

    I remember messaging about Anime, pascal programming, and playing Trade Wars 2002 and Leyend of the Red Dragon.

    We used to gather in a restaurant or someone's house to watch some anime.

    I loved MOD music files. Thankfully, winamp can play them, too! :)

    The amiga could do 4-channel music with sampled instruments, when PC's could just do bleeps and tweets. I still wonder why PC sound cards didn't emulate the amiga sound chip.

    There are consultants for lots of things. Why not have female consultants on game design?

    After all, the women don't have to program thousands of lines of code, they just can review the storyboard for certain scene and say: "Add this and that".

    What's the matter, big boy? Afraid a woman won't like how you're dressed?

    Borland products which were once the industry standard began a rapid descent, and have been garbage ever since, with MS's Visual suite taking their place.

    AHHH but don't forget the suborbital prices in Borland Products! They're about 5 times higher than Microsoft's!

    I remember a movie with Jim Carrey (he wasn't the main character, tho) about a guy who loved accepting cold calls.

    He would receive a call from an insurance salesman, and begin saying yes to most things until they arranged an appointment.

    Then, after making him waste 2 or more hours, when the insurance salesman was leaving, he'd say:
    "There's one little... problem.
    I'D RATHER... BE... DEAD!!!" (Then he shut the door on the poor salesman)

    Oh joy. How I loved that moment. I know it's cruel, but it vented my frustration towards spammers and the like.

    OK I won't speak about the lot of FUD that Gates say about innovation etc. I'm talking about software installation problems.

    I'm afraid we have fallen in the "Ad Hominem" attacks. Everything Microsoft says is lie, just because Microsoft say it. (OK i agree, 99% of what it says is a lie).

    Here on /. we have already spoken of the installation problems in Linux, and the dependency hell.

    Yes, it's bad, but this time Gates has found Linux' achiles heel. Let's hope we don't ignore this usability problem as Microsoft did when spoken about the IE vulnerabilities.

    And here DST is all screwed up. We'd need a DST from May to September or something. Currently DST forces us to wake up when the sky's all black.

    Why did we do it, you ask? Pressures from the US.
    I doubt Mexicans would want to accept a schedule that only makes things only worse. But as usual... we have to obey the all-powerful US otherwise we suffer the consequences.

    If Bush wants to sign this to save some bills, why doesn't he stop wasting money in IRAQ. Sheesh.

    15yo kids are having sex in all the imaginable forms (so much that they're been taught about sex, contraceptives and abortion at 12) - and we're worried because a game (where you can batter an old man to death) has sex scenes?

    Something's not logical in here. I still can't find out what it is, i just know something's wrong. If anybody can give some insight, he'd be gladly welcome.
