    Just watch.

    The USA refuses to adopt alternative fuels and prices are rising as fuel needs go up. Watch for china to lead the way in alternative fuel development and be the sole leader in the world. They need a cheap fuel soure to reach their goals of being a (or the) superpower.

    Our dependency because we are lapdogs of Saudi Arabia is going to bite us in the ass. We will be the ones buying the technology from the Chinese.

    Yeah I just got back from voting in Fairfax, a fucking MAD house.

    i liked the winvote machines, and how there was no redundency with the system. each machine is independent. how do these fly as standards? what happens if a machine falls and a HD is kicked? what will they do then?

    and for verification, how are you sure your vote is cast?

    Especially with how young children can pick up many languages easily... It boggles my mind that they can learn so many so fast. I don't understand how the older you get the worst you get at learning things such as new languages...

    Highly concentrated in bio-systems/informatics. Tech just built a HUGE building for bioinformatics. they plan to be doing a lot of processing for that.

    But they also plan to sell out processor time "cheap".

    this is BS, i am sorry but they are well documented as being bullies to push down prices of their suppliers with "do it or we will drop you" mantra.

    Walmart is a scary company they are HUGE and our out of control. Couple that with horrible business practices and you have one nasty business machine
