    It's bad because it makes cooking bacon much more painful than normal.

    Nudity is bad because you can't have your pet on your lap while naked without feeling really wierd.

    I used to work at a box store that sold computers (nothing to be proud of.

    The one thing I learned from that place is: if you want to buy a computer/laptop, always act like you're interested in all the bells and whistles they throw at you till you get to the register. This way they're much less likely to be "out of stock" on an Item. Have an at the counter conversion to decline the extra crap they throw at you, and you're set. That's all they care about, the service plans, it's just free money for them.

    As an example of british toughness, back in the late 70's my mother worked for tourism in England. Her and an older english woman she worked with had just hand written 300 invitations to a party they were having and put them in the mail.

    So they get to then end of the block after dropping off the letters and BOOM! the mailbox explodes, The woman my mother was with looks back and calmly says
    "Damn, we'll have to write them all again"

    As I was watching the news this morning my mom told me that story which gave me the thought "they'll do allright after this"

    Gays not getting married will cure this right? I mean two people who aren't going to act as brood mares for the state couldn't possbly raise a right thinking child. In Denmark they've had gay marriage since 1989, and they're fortunate to find a week without famine or drought or viking invasion!

    All sarcasm aside, an uninformed position defended adamently is a poor mask for ignorace. Be open about it, say that you just don't much like the gays and be out with it. ahhh, doesn't that feel better?
