Only in the UK where people still drive on the wrong side of the road.
Wouldn't it still be a left turn to get out of a circle in either counties? if you made a right turn it would make you enter the middle of the circle. So wouldn't it be the same regardless on what side the steering wheel was on?
Can you point towards a reputable source? I have never heard about this and want to learn more.
Trying to find some stuff online turned up nothing but I did find this article interesting about the topic...

"Anything was better than trying to make ME work. NT4 wasn't really an option because of missing USB drivers, etc. (Microsoft was deliberately using things like lack of USB to help force the upgrade from NT4 to XP)."
Ha, when I was in the military we used that to screw with the new data guys, we would go and tell them to install that USB printer on that Windows NT machine over there... and then watch about 80% of them try for about 30 minutes to get it to work.
I don't know anything about the Mac OS X but is all the extra steps the article points out. Are they normally needed to install lets say a normal codec? Vista reminds me of the same thing that while it may actually be more secure then previous versions users are still going to think that after seeing these screen after many times while trying to install other "normal" programs they will not take it as a caution any more but just enter in their information as soon as the login screen pop-up.
Lately FPS games to me haven't grabbed my attention for the longest time. I got bored of Bioshock rather fast (3-4 hours?), but Portal drew me in because there really was not just another twitch fest rehashed, but a 3D world dedicated to solving cool puzzles. Everything was well thought out and the humor in the game was great. This really comes true when your doing the advanced maps the solution to one of them came to me as I was showering (I drew a diagram on the wall....) That and the special bond with the Weighted Companion Cube, made me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
I wonder if people are still having a hard time finding the Wii? I sucked it up and bought one on ebay, but I wonder if the Wii's availability is playing into effect of how hard the system is to find?
Personally as a college student I like having the party games, none of them are complicated and if we have people over its very eazy to throw in drinking in to any of the games, and these games are so easy to learn that anyone can pick them up and start playing with very little hassle. On that note I loved Zelda but the games that have me keep coming back are Wii Sports, and the other "Party Games" because they just look like so much fun to other people. Personally, if I want to play a in depth game I'll just play it on the PC.
I never get scared by a movie but when playing F.E.A.R, Doom 3 or even better a mod for doom 3 that makes it play like a Rouge game (Dungeon Doom) I can only play for about 1-2 hours before I just need to pause or stop playing and go do something else, I think its due to the fact you fell so engrossed into what you are going to do you start to over think your decisions and it begins to slowly creep into your mind about whats around the next corner, and how it can be your last move. In movies your just sitting there and watching and you can't do a single thing, so why would someone feel engrossed about some stupid character who just ran up the stairs instead of running out the front door?
Then you can relax, because it doesn't install a rootkit - the story is false.
Thats not my only reason your forgetting the limit on installs, every time you install the game it sends a message to a server after 2 of these notices the game doesn't run unless you uninstall it a computer you had it installed in (This is also in the Steam version). Now that doesn't seem bad at all except, lets say your hard drive crashes, laptop gets stolen or you just say eh screw it I'm reformatting my computer. Now that is one install (out of 2) completely gone. People are already posting responses from both of the companies handling it. 2k tells you to contact Securom, and Securom tells you to contact 2k. The fact that if I get another computer or my hard drive crashes I have to put up this is ridiculous. Now what happens if 2k games goes under and the server is no longer there to activate it, they haven't made a comment yet about that either.
I downloaded the demo, and thought wow what an awesome game, I need to get this game. I was at work the next day surfing slashdot/digg. When I saw about this, I was not pleased to learn the fact that not only does the game install a root kit but the steam version does as well, even with steam's copyright system. I was furthered outraged when I learned that the demo does the same f***ing thing. You know what I am thinking now 2kgames is that maybe I'll just skip the game now. The fact that companies fell the urge to force DRM down our throat makes me close to just downloading it illegally, after all its the same product just without the root kit.
yep I did damn replying to a post at 2:30 AM anyway I'll answer your question correctly this time I think.... You can flag folders that they inherit from the parent. So if you turn that option on it will inherit the permission from what ever folder you placed it, i.e Placing a folder in C:\Documents and Settings\Joe.Smoo would update the permissions needed to view something in that folder, making it viewable to that user only because its deriving the permission from the parent object

If they enter a circle/roundabout do they get stuck in an infinite loop?

3,1,41,59,2,65
Personally I like the numbers.....
1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32

Did you think about that statement before writing it?
Sadly I reread it twice and it seemed to make sense in my tired little head......
slightly off-topic... but have any one who quit smoking have problems sleeping when they quit? (going cold turkey)

Did you miss this part? for Wikipedia. The six officials were publicly chastised for editing hundreds of Wikipedia entries during work hours
If they had gotten in trouble for doing it not during work hours I could see it being censorship, but they were doing it during work hours.
First thing that comes to mind...
I for one welcome our new Chinese/English speaking overlords.....its the first step to having Firefly back on TV.

I'm fairly sure that if they took all the porn off the Internet, there'd only be 1 website left, and it would be called Bring Back The Porn.

Luckily.......I followed slashdot's add to dice
I can imagine why they downplayed it when it happened due to fear of a public panic, but to wait 13 months to even tell the public is ridiculous.

So now your machines have no security on their Documents and Settings folder? Or do you somehow magically restore all the permissions afterwards?
All that would be needed here is the administrator accout or am I completely missing the point of this question?
