    Job stress results when the requirements of the job do not match the capabilities, resources, or needs of the employee.

    I know you probably don't know where North Dakota is, but just look at map of the US, find the middle of the country, and then just go up to the top. A little bit to the left of those big fresh water lakes we have.

    That area of the planet (Minnesota/North Dakota/South Dakota) actually has the second most variable temperatures in the whole world, behind Sibera.

    Then they would never have the fix their server problems. At least now, when the site is erroring out, no ads are being displayed so they have a reason to do something.

    The Windows Server 2003-based Macworld Expo site folded under all those hits, while Apple's sites, running Mac OS X, were only knocked into sluggishness. (Server load is a complex thing, of course -- more complicated than what OS is on the servers.)

    So why even mention it?

    Not trying to be an MS apologist, but it's not as if the Macworld Expo site has any where near the hosting capability that apple.com does. Probably one, maybe two servers running the expo site.
