I would hope M$ would have a more polished console and a host of new Xbox Live functions to show at E3, they are launching their new console in about 5 months!! Sony, on the other hand, is almost a year and 6 months away from when they will launch, so all they really have is pre-rendered footage. I read somewhere that the KillZone trailer was rendered in real-time on alpha dev hardware, at 5 fps. They then took the footage and sped it up to 60 fps in post. Again, very misleading, but still true and, considering their console is over a year away, probably the only way they could get anything out as the GPU has not even been produced yet.
Well, if you notice that they quote the price in Yen, not US$. They are referring to the Japanese launch of the PSP. I believe, but can't find any links to support this, that they only had 100,000 units available for the Japan launch, and they all subsequently sold out on the first day. So yes, it is a little misleading, but still true. The North American launch of the PSP is what you are thinking of.
I once found a collection of all SCUMM games on one DVD formatted for Xbox. I have since lost it, but that, together with SCUMMvmX made for many hours of fun for myself and my friends and family. Of course, you need a modded box, and it is kind of a legal grey area (to me at least). But there is nothing like playing through "The Dig" again with my younger brother and reminiscing about how hard it seemed. Or playing through "Full Throttle" and laughing at how hilarious that game is. Truly a fun experience, in fact, I am going to try to find it again now....

You may be thinking of the "View Options" selection, as that only lets you select what columns are displayed. If you click "Preferences" then you can change things like Audio options, CD Burning, and Sharing support.

Actually, at this point, it is still impossible to play pirated PSP games off the memory stick. This swap trick will only work with homebrew apps and emulators, as they are in.PBP format. All the UMD dumps that have surfaced are in.iso format.
Awesome, man, your taste in games couldn't be better. You have just listed four of the best games/game franchises in history. SS2 was/is incredible and after reading the post about improved mesh rendering, I think I will give it a try. Deus Ex, I wish they hadn't made a sequel, the original was soooooo good. I will agree that the above review is of extremely poor quality, even for a blog. But that is no reason to pull it down. As someone else stated, there have been and still are, much more poorly written reviews that remain on GameFAQs, so this seems to be a case of them taking down reviews they disagree with.
I personally think this reviewer sounds like he doesn't even own a PSP, just read some other reviews, maybe played Lumines on a friend's and that was it. RR is a stand up game, MP3 playback is fantastic on the headphones (speaker is lacking in quality, but it came with free headphones), and as the reviewer said, the screen is incredible. He clearly bought the hype as he plunked down his hard-earned cash for the unit and a game. IMHO RR is THE launch title, Wipeout is popular due to the browser hack, Lumines is a kick ass puzzler that will keep you occupied on long trips. THUG2 is an excellent port of the original with all the same music, similar graphics and 4 NEW levels. I could go on and on, but the point is this: Regardless of the fact that this review is very shortsighted and appears to be written by a 12 year old who is pissed that his friends have PSPs and he doesn't, it doesn't deserve to be removed from the site as this is the Intarweb and people can decide this is total crap on their own.

OK, I am sick and damn tired of hearing all these nintendo FUDboys bashing Sony for using UMD (a proprietary Sony format) WTF do you think Nintendo has been doing with every single game console they have made up to GC?!?!?! they all use proprietary formats, have you ever seen a movie on a GC disc? what about on a SNES cartridge? Oh, I know, they are releasing movies on NDS carts right? Nope, just games, and you can't write to them either?!?! NDS and PSP do no compete directly, PSP is cool, yet flawed, NDS is cool, but flawed. Buy both, Buy neither, who cares, just don't trash the other because you are stupid.
I think all of us are basically griping about the same thing, with different ways of saying it. Microsoft ruined the Deus Ex franchise by making it Xbox exclusive and making sure that it worked best on Xbox, killing anything that made the original game fun and unique.

Better yet, play frequency and you will be in for a very life changing experience. Apparently, fallout 3 will be more like Morrowing and a litte less like fallout 1&2. However, that should be awesome, I guess the only real difference in the two games was a combat system and 2D graphics, so, It will be just like Fallout1&2, which were both awesome games.
