It might still be an incredibly small step up from our current curriculum (IIRC, this is the first change to it since I finished school) which doesn't even mention the word evolution, instead using the term changes over time.
Just being Floridian makes you the butt of a near-endless supply of jokes (the 2000 election, old people, our pathetic intolerance for temperatures below 50 F... ok, that one has some basis in fact) I guess some of us just like it.
I think it had an article a year or so back, but those who have an old P2 or something collecting dust in their closet may want to consider m0n0wall, a FreeBSD based LiveCD that can turn your old PC into a commercial-grade router complete with firewall, traffic shaping, PPTP/IPSec, wake on LAN, and more. You don't need any experience with BSD to set it up, as pretty much everything can be done from the WebGUI it uses, no HDD is needed, you only use the LiveCD, and a floppy disk to store configuration data in xml, and using thumb drives instead of a floppy is planned for the next release (finally a use for that old 32 meg one in my junk drawer).
I'm extremely happy with it, I can game while my server is seeding a torrent, and my pings never suffer.
But we weren't just sitting at home, we've been meddling in their affairs for decades, installing and propping up murderous dictators, and sometimes assassinating democratically elected leaders in the process. While obviously not all their grievances against us are legitimate, the fact is our actions in the past have helped to shape theirs in the present.
I have a Wii, and enjoy it (though I'd enjoy it more if fucking TRU would ship my Wii Play preorder already), but I am definitely feeling that slight sting associated with early adoption, but it's nowhere near full buyers remorse. The scarcity was probably part of the reason I bought one when I had the chance, had sales slowed down to the point where you could simply walk into a store and buy one without any planning, I may have held off. I'm sure this will subside however, when the game releases hit their stride, and especially when Mario Galaxies, and Smash Bros. Brawl are finally released.
So right, but so hard to come across. In Battlefield 2, when piloting the gunships, if you have a competent gunner (rare), and a team that is willing to spot the opposing team's armor so you can find and kill it (even more rare), it becomes online gaming at its finest.
Indeed, sure would be nice. Here in the US, Congress gets an automatic 2% "cost of living" raise each year unless they vote to block it, last time they did in in June 06, it went up to $168k/year.
STS-125 is scheduled to launch in 2008, and is supposed to be conducting the final service mission. Don't think there has been any official word yet on fixing/replacing the camera yet though, but it would seem wasteful not to, unless they just decide to scrub the mission.
I was actually scared with how easy it was to find one, kept thinking something had to go wrong, comet slamming into my car on the way back home maybe. After a mere day and a half of calling around, I found a Super Target that had some in stock, when I got there, there were at least 4 or 5 still in the case, no lines, rushing or anything. If you haven't already, you may want to try calling your local Target(s) if there are any around, they've apparently been getting random shipments in the last few days. If not, Wii Seeker has every Best Buy in my area pegged to be having at least 10+ per store on the 31st, dunno about elsewhere, heard some people say it was the same for them.
Shhh, its okay, not to worry. The next laughing excuse for an "Energy Bill" packed full of oil subsidies is probably in the works as we speak. All is well.
He was talking about Charlie Crist, the Republican candidate for FL Governor (now Governor-Elect), at a big rally a few days before the election, he was slated to introduce Dubya, and was a no-show. Crist claimed it was because the area they were rallying in was already a fairly sure thing for him.
Touching on dissent (though not within the party) I remember once on The Daily Show a few years back (been looking for the clip for a while without much luck), they showed the US and British versions of "Town-Hall Meetings". At Bush's, he was lavished with praise by one of the GOP hand-picked sheep, asked "What can I do to fight terrorism?" by another, etc. The British version showed Blair under a barrage of criticism, "You lied to this country!", etc, they showed him 30 minutes into it looking much different, sweating and whatnot. How I yearn for such dialogue with our elected leaders here.
I have, and I dont see a single post within this article with your name on it containing any link that provides evidence to support your claim, I did find this only a few posts down though.
Haha, I remember that, sometimes I'd cry, but I usually would just angrily throw the controller at the floor. By the end of my N64's lifetime both my controllers had several little bits of plastic rattling around in them.
I can see what you mean about the links to the coders individual sites (I had not noticed that before). The summary I submitted thanked & credited the coders involved, but that part seems to have been removed. However, there was nothing "carefully selected" about the links, I used PSP Updates because they're one of the larger sites covering the story/PSP scene in general, I don't have any affiliation with them, and if ads bother you so much.
True, but now we have the wonder of devhook, and pretty much seamless 2.50 emulation on 1.50, and 2.60 isnt far behind now. Though I can agree that downgrade isnt the most accurate term, it seems to be the most widely used.
There were actually a few instances of excellent continuity in the series. In the pilot, Nibbler's shadow is visible on a wall just before Fry leans over/is pushed into the freezer, just as explained a few seasons later in "The Why of Fry".
It does support 128bit WEP, you use the touch screen and an on screen keyboard to type in the hex key, and theres a network browser, so you dont need to know SSID. Its actually quite functional, just wish it supported WPA.

Crikey!

Well fine, I'm gonna start my own Pluto-recognizing state, with blackjack, and hookers!
In fact, forget the state, and the blackjack.

Oh wow, I hadn't heard about this. Thanks for the heads up, the FCC almost seems slightly less worthless now.
I always assumed they did this, am I the only one?

At least you've admitted it, thats the first step.

"Commencing test # 1"
"Ow, my sperm!"
"Interesting, lets try that again, commencing test # 2"
"Hmm, didn't hurt that time."

Im sorry, I seem to have missed the part where you backed up your original statement with facts, could you point it out to me?
