Went from $240 a month for triple play to about $120 for about the same service.
Here's what I am using:
1. OTA with Tablo (4 channel at a time recording) - 5tb hard drive. We record EVERYTHING! We get about 35 channels, crystal clear.
2. Playstation Vue
3. Dropped the phone line - wife doesn't miss the junk calls and kids are grown so no strong need for 911.
We continue to have these services.
1. Netflix
2. Hulu plus
3. Amazon prime
Right, these are mostly medium to low wage workers. You can't compare these numbers with Google and Microsoft. It's a different type of work force.
You need to compare it against the likes of Walmart. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/... says Walmart has 2.3 million employees.
Nice thing about having all these release stages is that they are tested before promoting to the next stage.
Process for updating any stage:
1. copy data from next stage.
2. deploy new code
3. TEST TEST TEST
Clearly a case of too much deving and not enough oping.
I see no mention of alarms. With all those failures there must have been some notification.
Chances are they were lost in the nested folders of outlook with millions of other false alarm alerts.
They must have a mirrored test zone that they can copy from.
Lesson learned. Test your backups, regularly!
Considering how pervasive macbook is in the developer community it's about damn time!
My workload requires around 25 gig of memory. So, my $3000 MBP is just a remote terminal to an ESX box and a sandbox for my side projects.
face recognition, nope!
normal walking pattern, hell..
unlocking phone to take a selfie.. denied.
maybe this is a good thing after all.
how about running from a mugger use case?
face recognition, tough after a punch to the face
running pattern, def not normal
calling 911, better hope the phone has emergency dial from locked screen.
you will know full well that this war machine is coming and you may contribute by providing negative test cases.
get to work! we expect many bug reports.
I actually grew up on a farm in a third world country and I couldn't agree more. I was awe struck by all the technology (80's) and that without a doubt got me in to this career. The lust obviously wore off over the many decades but it's still a huge differentiator when I see peers who don't share that sense of wonder and curiosity for new tech.

That right there is the top reason why t-mobile rocks. That ceo of theirs knows how to treat their customers.
Outlook isn't so good for tesla if bolt is selling around 1000 per month.

This is more of a math issue than it is a language issue. Horrifying any one who took middle school algebra.
rock and a hard place. Time to go find a different pond.

Huuu sounds familiar... like our health care system. Nothing new here. Standard company profit tactics.
YOU'RE FIRED! let the tragic comedy commence!
Drown out the coastal blue states and profit!
to be expected. what would have been just a roar of the engine will now land you across the street.
some of the time.
controls the future. who controls the future, controls the past. Jedi mind trick has nothing on NK.
