I see you take Jobs' use of referring to an iPhone be simply saying "people will buy iPhone".
Why do you keep on missing out an before the word of this product?
that seemed like a perfectly fine interesting comment about what we could actually be facing in the future until you turned it into one of the worst flames on the zune I've possible read, and seeing as I read slashdot everyday, that's alot
why don't you wear one? All the police are doing are using Archos AV500 wth the optional camera attachment.
There are alot of people who use this setup when cycling or in their cars on tracks.
Except if you do this in the UK, you then need to buy a new passport which costs around $110, as if your passport's RFID chip isn't working, the passport is void
While first of all, none of this is actually new in any way or form. I thought most of the normal/. readers would know most of this, including at least anyone who actually codes in PHP
the real crux is that half of what was done, was only accomplished from a VERY poorly written site, such as not checking the user's id against the user who created the "update list". Stuff like being able to change a id variable and being able to see other users data is just basic poor php coding. Then you have the create admin page, which didn't seem to check the user's id or auth level.
It's the sort of article you would expect on "hackinpr0z.com"
This article can be summed up with two lines. Either;
I, for one, welcome our new Google overlords!
or
Google who?
Personally I think the scenario "Google are still the top of the game with a share price of $2000 and the other companies are playing catch up but nothing much has changed.
This has been talked about for quite a long time and even supposedly seen but what can Google do that would make this more special then any other ubuntu release/spin off?
Also a more worrying question, would you see ads incorporated?
So why would someone use this service against say The Google Video Store, or iTunes.
TFA doesn't mention if the files would be cheaper, but they will still be DRM'ed so by using this service you get the movie like you normally would be you also have to sacrifice your upload.
I don't understand why anyone would want to sue this over the services that are already out.

In other news, it's easier to see where you are going when you have your eyes open.
Who's to say Vista will be secure? Surely from past experience its safer to use XP which has had numerous security patches then a whole new OS with thousands of vulnerabilities to be found
Does it not annoy any other British people here that the breif description fails to mention that this survey was carried out by 2000 people, there is 60 million currently living in the UK so I fail to see how these 2000 people represent all 60 million of us.
Also I mainly sya this because I don't want to be assosiated with such an idiotic country that the article describes.

well seeing as the majority of AMD is based in Dresden, Germany, I'd hazard a guess there.
source?
Yes, including their "every doctor smokes" posters

Awwww you are ruining the video game bashing :(
People on /. bashing others for playing video games... haha it's so ironic
$ = £ and "it's exactly that bad" = "it isn't exactly that bad" that's what you get when you wake up at 4pm and don't use preview
considering Be do $30 for 24Mbit and UKOnline's 22Mbit line is around 30 pounds aswell, it's exactly that bad
17? what is the age of consent in the US? As in the UK it's 16 so looking at 17 year olds really isn't anything special
I think I just strained my neck trying to read the damn message
http://www.idsoftware.com/games/wolfenstein/rtcw/ ?
what about Return to Castle Wolfenstein and Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory? they aren't exactly the type of game you listed above
if only Americans knew that there are more accents to the UK than just cockney and RP, and if only I hadn't weasted my mod points :(
