    I used to work in a Gamestation. I agree it's wrong to trest your customers like criminals, however when you spend two hours a day (3pm - 5pm) watching your entire shop like a hawk because the idiots will steal empty fucking boxes given half a chance, you eventually get tired of it.

    30% of our customer base, given a DS to playtest, would have immediately sprinted out of the door, never to be seen again. This is why we can't let you play with the nice toys.

    Dude, that EXACTLY what i have. I've even got a little trailer with a built in generator to make it portable. and my mum sewed super enormous pockets in my jacket to put it in. oh man, we are SO ahead of the game.

    [i]you're still not approaching the smoothness of a Mac[/i] whatever. i have a G4 right here beside me that runs like crap because it hasn't got enough RAM. that has all the various hardware that makes a mac a mac, and its shitty. apple doesn't power its machines by magic, believe it or not. its still just hardware, and you need a proper spec machine for it to work well. take your fanboi head out of your arse.

    This license fee pays for BBC 1 & 2 for terrestial "over-the air" viewers and a selection of other BBC channels on digital TV (still over the air, and free to receive however you must have a digital capable TV, or buy a settop box for about £40). It also pays for all the BBC radio stations, the website, and a selection on non-broadcast stuff; they help schools to put on a series of shakespeare plays recently or instance.

    Personnally I think it is a very good system which lets the beeb to do a lot of things that a purely advertising based system would not allow. also, adverts piss me off - i was trying to watch the pilot of lost on channel4 (not part of the BBC) yesterday and it was unbearable with the advert breaks. i ended up torrenting it, which meant i didnt have to watch big brother (thank you god), and meant I could actually enjoy the program.

    i cant even begin to imagine how painful this mouse must be to use. do i have to have my fingers suspended all the time, for fear of accidental clicking? or do i have to lift them up everytime i want to click on something?

    either its super sensitive, in which case it will be basiclly unusable, or its very low sensitivity, in which case it will just be annoying.

    however, as someone has said, Apple's UI design tends toward excellent, so maybe it works perfectly. i'd love to give it a try, but currently i have my doubts.

    thank you for finally explaining this to me. i get exactly this in counterstrike on my hyundai Q17 and wondered what the hell it was.

    to be fair, i have only noticed this on dust and dust2, the monitor is otherwise absolutely perfect for gaming. i play a lot of GTR and Battlefield2 and have never noticed any other problems. i would never have another CRT.
