    Eh, sort of. It's not so bad these days. Macs can do it using MacFUSE (google it yourself, lazy) and not certain on all linux support but it seems to work fine on my Ubuntu box.

    When you use "they" rather than "we" and make En-UK language mistakes that even my german GF wouldn't make, I can only assume you're not from round these parts.

    The U in "favourite" nearly tipped me, but I used the logic that if you were yank you probably had fat fingers and couldn't type very well.

    They always manage something that is nearly completely wrong, but right enough to see where they were going before they were distracted by something to eat or a TV.

    Or it might be because the cost of the iPhone is heavily subsidised by the contract you agree to sign before you open the box. (which is clearly marked and you are allowed to return it for a full refund if you don't agree)

    That's not a bad idea, though a lot of people seem unable to deal with a side-dock (including me, now. Somehow the switch to Leopard made me hate it)

    PayPal can be bad for buyers though. Bought a monitor for £300 (apple cinema display) and paid instantly via PP. Then he refused to ship it saying my address wasn't confirmed. So iI confirmed it. He still said it was dodgy and refused to send the item.

    Paypal still have the money. Between us we could find no way to sort it out.
