    I do agree with you somewhat, and look forward to online play, but they never really got off the ground with the GameCube net adapter. It is SO READY for online play!

    I have had Vonage for over 1 year now, and I love it. I pay $26 a month for unlimited everything, long distance in the US, voice mail, caller id, everything just like a real land line. I had Verizon telephone, and their monthly bill was $87 for the same exact package. SBC/Ameritec was $72 at my previous house. Vonage VoIP uses your existing phones. I don't want to get up and go to my computer everytime I want to make a Gtalk call. I know it's no cell phone, either, but, your normal house line is not a cell phone, either.

    I haven't heard the term SoIP?

    My Vonage rocks the party for over a year now. I like my $26 a month for unlimited phone calls, and the quality is great.

    I'll get Nintendo Revolution (yep, I'm a fanboy). What I do like so far is that they have said virtually nothing; they are quietly learning from the other 2. On the other hand, Sony and M$ have over promised, built expectations and are figuring ways to under-deliver (such as M$'s backward compatabilies issues)

    Now that's a nice setup for the kids! That's really aweseom.

    Another thing to mention, is not to just not limit them, but be involved with what they do (general parental rule seems skipped in most households today).

    My son has been fluent with a mouse for about a year, since he was 3 1/2. He has graduated to GameCube (yes, he blazes on Mario Kart). I brought him to Nick Jr sites, played Bob the Builder, went to Shockwave and let him play some puzzle games, and his favorite PC game is Snail Mail (sorry, don't have the link). I think its a great thing, he has his own computer (PIII 550) and he goes at his pace.

    I like old school Spy Hunter... at one point you can go all the way to the right or left, on the grass, without exploding, then all balls out forward (until you hit either water or a fork in the road.

    On a side note, I feel Revolution's mysterious hype is going to explode. I am excited (yes, even with Mario part 87) to see what there is to offer.

    Do we believe there is, isn't, or will be. Sounds like the same response to Intel 1+ month ago with the DRM claims in thier chipsets, etc.

    Why is it okay for "agencies" to go and find vulnerabilities in public networks, but as soon as a high school student finds a hole, tells someone, then no onw does anything, he has to exploit it to get noticed, then charged with some stupid "hacker crime"?

    I have gotten a good one, and it was free. Then there are the phones that cost upwards of $250~$300

    This keyboard will be great for mapping keys for games =)

    I remember in 1996 I had a Metallica site (Yes, Metallica) with MP3s. They were small, encoded at 56k / 22khz mono, maybe about 1~1.5MB per song. I had people download hard to find B-sides. At that time is when I found out what bandwidth was. I had them served on my free 20MB web space at enteract.com. I had over 10,000 visitors in 4 months. They shut me down because I had to purchase more bandwidth. I thought it was free web space...

    This all means nothing to me. I want to see how the games play more than how the system looks. Others may feel different.

    On the other hand, if I was interested in design, I would have liked to see it more rack compatable, fitting in with stereo equipment as for it would be the living room media hub.

    Not the same argument. Owning an ATM or keylogging customers' PINs has nothing to do with this.

    Ownership doesn't have a fucking single thing to do with it. I assume that where you work, the land is privately owned. Is the owner of that property allowed to do things to you that are against the law? No.

    Show up to work, do your fucking job.
