This is kinda cool. It could help with peace efforts. Israeli's have been so vilified by arab governments that they don't' even imagine them as human beings. Seeing them in their daily lives walking about chatting, with kids and friends...should help to convey that we're all just people and we should get along. Also Arabs will see how well Israeli's who are Arab live within the country and may see that coexistence is possible.

AT&T should offer an option for pay per use tethering. That would do well as an impulse buy. Say $5/day with a 1GB max data limit. Standard $10/GB overage charges. I bet that would sell better than their monthly plan.
If Nintendo would use their Nintendo 3DS to sell full games as digital downloads at $5 to $10 both the 3DS and their games would sell like crazy.
Hell, they could even offer a free firmware update for their DS to allow it to accept a of the shelf 8GB SD card and allow for full games to be downloaded for $10 and they would make a shit ton on additional money on the DS.

nearly all of the road signs in Israel are in both Hebrew and Arabic.

It was mostly because it wasn't interesting and because I had undiagnosed health problems that people (including my parents) mistook as me being lazy.
