I've delt with film that's several years old and it's in just as good condition as the new stuff, even just stuck in a cupboard with no environmental or humidity controls. Add those and I imagine modern film could last far longer than the digital medium.
You shouldn't have to worry about your credit card getting wiped unless you're riding under the tracks where the high powered magnets are, and if you're down there, you probably have bigger problems than having to get a new credit card
I know when I was visiting Europe, all the images changed to say "Google Mail" and then when I returned to the states they all went back to GMail. I don't see any change in their branding for users in the US.
You should try the Opera developer tools built into the console (under tools>advanced). Combined with the ability to modify source on a loaded webpage (right click>hit view source and edit what you want) makes Opera very nice to work on for web development.
Hey just to use higher power lasers at a rock concert you need to get a variance from the FDA so a machine that diagnoses health seems like it's much more in their area.
They've basicall expanded to becoming the regulators of products that can affect peoples' health
I used that quote from the license a few years ago when my professor was insisting that we might need to write code for a nuclear facility some day so we should make our code fool proof. Showed her!
You should try using it during a rock show or some other event where the lights flash. It's especially exciting because there's a slight delay for changing brighness so you usually end up with the screen bright right after the light flashes and then dark right after it comes on again
with 18,446,744,073,709,551,616 numbers and we'll say 8 Bytes per number, that would be a 128 Exabyte file - not the most reasonable file to host all over the place
You must be loving the weather of the last week then!

Alternatively you could just open up the policy editor and go to the windows components area for updates and then disable reminders or just have them be a few hours apart instead of a few minutes.
Well that's a step up from google docs which gives a message for the parameter to skip the browser test:
"Please note that it is a violation of intergalactic law to use this parameter under false pretenses, so don't let us catch you at it."
Another thing mentioned in the blog posting is this:

The requests go over HTTP, but the replies will be signed by the server to make sure they are genuine. We prefer to send information between the browser and ourselves in plain text, so our users can inspect the data we send "home".

So it's not like they're sending everything back to opera without telling you what it is.
Well seeing as it is a 3000 page document, I imagine that would be a deterrent for most people thinking of printing it.
So I guess you're saying you have a lot of faith in this review

You're in a power outage posting to slashdot? Do you have a backup satalite link and generator just in case you lose internet for a few hours?

Or it could be that you just don't watch the channels that the toy and game ads are targetted at these days.

You're telling me that Best Buy sells spindles of 53 1/3 disks now?
Sounds like a scam to me... you can never get those 1/3s of disks together without a LOT of duck tape.
Depite all the cool Apple technology in them, you do still have to charge the iPhone now and then if you want it to keep working.
Well for a couple years now Opera hasn't been ad supported so there are no longer google ads that read every page.
Try recording your keystrokes some time and see how many times you hit backspace. I don't think your typewriter can do that.
If you burned them to a CD then they would no longer be the metadata included so you wouldn't have a problem. Same deal as the DRM versions.
So it's sort of like Disneyland with a Old Testament theme going on?

Obviously Santa uses time lord technology to fly his sleigh around and store all the presents inside it. It's bigger on the inside than the outside.
Well I imagine that would be partially because of the Diebold voting machines since that brings the total to %110.
"Oh that's a nice computer too"
