    please stop saying that goldman, morgan stanley, boa, jpm chase, etc, somehow have 'their own money'. without TARP, none of those companies would exist. they all took money either directly, or one-degree of separation, from the government to keep themselves alive, and living in nice walled communities, and going to nice restaurants for lunch, and having their nice careers and their nice cars and their nice little lives, while millions of other people are moving back with their parents, learning to love ramen, giving up on college, losing their savings, moving to low-rent ghetto apartments full of drug dealers and criminals, etc etc etc.

    are not going to care about BPA.. they are too worried about how to buy any food at all. (note inside of cans is lined with BPA and prices WILL GO UP if it is changed. go up as in, consumers will stop buying it because the main point of buying it is low price and speed of preparation)

    if the US said 'we cancel all your treasury securities' it would be effectively the US defaulting on a couple hundred billion dollars worth of debt. when you default on your debt, your 'credit rating' goes to crap and nobody wants your currency anymore. the middle east could move oil off the dollar if China wanted them to, think if China was a bigger customer than the US was, why wouldn't they just move oil to sell in Euros or RMB? secondly, what if they just decided to short the US dollar and liquidate their treasuries at the same time? why not?

    since you can have one person running everywhere doing everything, instead of a few people sitting around waiting for the phone to ring. i used to be on this crew and i was the only person at night who had access to the 'elevator reset' code. of course, both elevators got stuck at the bottom of a 600 foot shaft while i was out doing something 'out of reach' of communications equipment and nobody knew where i was, despite the several hundred bucks they had spent on pagers and other stupid BS. the answer, logically, would be to have two people at night. or, technologically, to have a bunch more transmitters everywhere communicating information all over the place.
