Why is this? Puerto Rico is a US territory and without us going into political talk, we are rightful US Citizens by birth. So if we are so attached to the US that we use the currency, have the same laws, speak the same language (and actually spanish too), and have the same business guidelines as the US. Why is Cupertino being a prick with us then? We have well over 50 thousand people interested in getting an iPhone, and they wont be able to get it because Apple won't be selling it in the island. What furthermore sucks, is that AT&T is saying that the phone won't work on the Cingular networks in Puerto Rico and that they will be adding Sim and area code blockers, so no one in PR can use an iPhone.
I think Apple likes to bully us a lot and disregards that they have people in PR who buy their ipods, use their computers and love their computers and their genius behind what they do.
The should appreciate us more, but they don't... So I in a way understand the European Government...

People... read the ad. He works for Microsoft. He probably has his entire ship rigged to run Vista Ultimate Business for Ships. And it crashed... or maybe the UAC just drove nuts the captain or maybe the ship's monitors and video cards couldnt run Aero and it frieds his circuits.
Or maybe his ships database crashed because its not 100% compatible with Vista, and he couldnt talk to the battery management part, so the engines didnt turn on, so he is probably just sitting at dock trying to solve the problem of why the registry doesnt even run.

Blizzard, has designed all their games since Diablo equally available on Macs, long since OSX. Even World of Warcraft was made available the same day it launched on Macs running OSX. If macs were still on PPC (and no excuse, since Blizzard has done it in the past), I could understand your decision, Macs now run on Intel processors and they even support ATI and Nvidia to the core.
I am a a big Warhammer fan, but if your development team is uncapable of delivering the game on dual OSX and Windows, I guess its not good enough for me to buy. At this point and age, not developing games for all Major OS's is more of a stone in the way of offering good games for eveyone.
Why should gamers be forced to use windows to play when Macs are just as good and have been proven to be a good market for games?? Take World of Warcraft for example. Im can do all the modding any Windows user can on my Mac. I dont need windows for anything WoW offers me.
Your game is not going to have the same success as you think it will, without supporting all the platforms.
I think they are rushing it out the door. They know Apple will release Leopard on Timee and it would really hurt Microsoft if apple Launches 1st than their grand product. Most Enterprise and Crporate business will not upgrade to Vista for at least another year. They have enough trouble winth windows xp as it is. and by the time Regular users install vista, Leopard will be out rocking since day 1.
I think Apple is more organized when launching a new OS , Microsoft is jas noisy as any makle, loud and with bragging rights but has premature ejaculation problems.
It will take vista at least a year to be where its supposed to be after all the bug fixes it has to undergo.
I think if you have been offered opportunities to work at two of the thre best places to work (i tnk woring at apple is a hoot! but that is me...) I also dont know where you are based ad what is your economy, but if I were in your position, i would make sure to interview myself on both and visit their respective campus. I would also take some time to chec out the local areas for living and even ask them for references of where to live.
In the end your decision should be made based on the following:
1. your expertise... 2. what would you like to specialize on 3. where do you see yourself in the next 10 years 4. salary 5. cost of living 6. your goals in life (work for 10 years then mariage, etc.)
In the end go where you will be happier and you can gain the most of what i mentioned above.
