There is pricing for pre-register and for much higher pricing for priority pre-register, what is the difference if you are buying a domain. It looks like a lottery where it cost a fortune to play. I am subscribed to a couple hundred channels and don't get alerts. I know several people that have YouTube accounts that don't have that problem.
