I think I figured it out. I had to put it through babelfish a few times.
Here is the clarified version:
While approximately 3 or 4 months over, if Velious came out, have I a group of five friends had that I would go to that mycètes tents in the niedrigereren guk (to âm nearly always was he uncamped) once or twice one week. We are ' up to us remained had everything that mycètes tunic (they are truck) or the school began. Thus we made everyone at plate ~60k-90k per week starting from 3-4 o'clock play, which alot than this 60,000pp in week with the constant play is simpler.
And the bulletin does say win2k patch will be released soon.
I suppose reading the bulletin would take all the fun out of bashing MicroSoft for bullying us into upgrading right?
Like yourself I was reading this for just the articles. This was the one with blonde with a lovely tatoo of a butterfly on her left butt cheek, apparently so I've been told
AC reports that you could look more like a geek with new Apple cupholders that display the temperature of your liquid (using a cut down AMD chip), only $9.99.
DAKOTA can be applied to a whole host of things besides weapons development. In the application part of the page they show some examples (dye coating, vibration testing).
You could also say the same for numerical recipes. I think the ppl at Sandia are a bit more clued in than the washington politicos.

While war and weaponry are generally considered to be Bad Things(tm), there could still be an upside to all this. The fact exists that the military is traditionally the single biggest innovator in new technologies and ideas.
You are absoulately right. In world war II we got a whole heap of stuff. Rockets, aqualung, better aircraft, atomic energy (unconstrained) etc. In world war I we got barbed wire, tanks, mines, well maybe WWI isn;t such a good example.
But I agree with you innovation is born out of competition.
I am very sure Sony thought this out in detail. The wording on the back of the CD (warning you not ot play onthe PC or MAC) most probably covers them.
Similar situation is like the warnings on bleach. Don't drink bleach. So by drinking it you can't sue the bleach company even if you wanted your insides sparkling clean.
Don't get me wrong, I love Linux. The quirky command-line interface makes me nostalgic for my days as a student using fun but non-standard packages like LaTeX and gnuplot. But when I want enterprise-level support for my physic-al work, I always choose the software that I know won't let me down.
Really so how do you submit your papaers. Considering APS would like papers in LaTeX form. Also your prized simulations I find hard to belive would be running on a windows box.
I have been to many labs and many universities and I have never met a Physicist who would use windows over unix.
Furthermore, the highly-optimized nature of the Windows(TM) Operating System Kernel makes for blazingly fast simulation runs even on the low-end hardware that my University is willing to pay for.
Really so you've managed to get LAPACK to run faster on a windows install then Linux. Why don't you post some numbers? How long does it take you to diagonalize a sparse 20,000x20,000 matrix?
"Would I put an air traffic control system on Linux right now? No," says Carey. "But can it get there within five years? Absolutely."
But then again I can't think of many OSes I would have running an air traffic control system. I belive most of those systems are tailor made not off the shelf OSes.
GPS is a poistioning tool. It uses satellites to find out where you are. (i.e. you could be in aplae and it will tell you you are 35,000 ft in the air over wherever).
Unless someone was willing to follow a coastline or terrain feature then you could map it.
It might be prudent to wait for the europeans to get their version of GPS up (don't know how long this will take). This way you can buy something that can use either or both!
So now after hearing the slurping as someone tries to finish off their tiny remnents of coke now we will hear the incessant clikcing of someone as they type out their irc message asking the guy next to aisle to go get somemore coke.
Lets hope they don't have XP's voice recognition turned on

OK you are right here. There isn't a ptach for 95
98 isn't supported ( getting a little too close for my comfort )
Microsoft Windows 98:

Windows Me:

Where do I send the money to?
No he is not. We change time by leap seconds so that we don't get too disoriented when we wake up and its just sunset.
Fossils are measured on an absoulate scale. Length of a day a few million years ago was a also very different as it is today.

Also on the CD it says don't play this on a PC or MAC.
IF this crashed your expensive CD-player than that would be another matter.
I read the article and what caught my eye was the story at the bottom.
"Porn is out", the writers got this right. Games and porn. Ageeks delight
I think monitor lizards from people with Moore yesi ghit doesn't make sense to me
I thought this was what Xmag and magnifier was for.
This is such a good diea. My BSD machine synchs and I can have it broadcast ntp packets on the IR port.
All my appliances read this and set the clocks.
My whole house could be synched to within milliseconds of the RIGHT time.
Yes not only did they stop light they made it go backwards!
PLease don't post a stroy on mirrors now!
OpenSource GPS mapping??!?!??!

If the game had a demo where I could check it out. I might have thought about buying it.

Their database server is unbreakable as long as you don't start it.
