    Ive been saying this for the better part of two years now. Google will own the world! Its not MS you have to worry about. Maybe people should actually start putting in for their jobs on the lunar base as it might become a reality instead of a practicle joke :)

    The North American version of the PSP 2.0 firmware update is now available via the wireless Network Update feature on your PSP. As expected, the 16MB update is nearly identical to the Japanese version released last month.

    The version 2.0 software brings a mobile web browser, new audio and video format support, photo sharing, custom wallpapers and more. Check out the complete release notes after the jump.

    The download and install the update, use your PSP's Network Update feature (Settings > Network Update). Read our PSP Firmware Update Guide if you need further help.

    Update: The PSP 2.0 update is now available for direct download.

    From the official 2.0 update release notes:

    Network
    + An internet browser has been added

    Video
    + 4:3 screen mode has been added (for video saved on Memory Stick Duo media).
    + Go To feature has been added (for UMD Video and UMD Music).
    + A-B Repeat feature has been added (for UMD Video, UMD Music and video saved on Memory Stick Duo media).
    + Audio options have been added (for video saved on Memory Stick Duo media).
    + MP4 (AVC) has been added as a playable file format (for video saved on Memory Stick Duo media).

    Music
    + The combination of SonicStage version 3.2 (or later) and PSP system software 2.0 (or later) has made it possible for music files in ATRAC3 plus format to be transferred to a Memory Stock PRO Duo.
    + MP4 (the audio codec for MP4 format audio files is MPEG-4 AAC) and WAV (Linear PCM) have been added as playable file formats (for music saved on Memory Stick Duo media).

    Photo
    + Wallpaper feature has been added.
    + Image transfer feature has been added.
    + TIFF, GIF, PNG and BMP have been added as viewable file formats.

    Settings
    + Korean has been added as a system language in [System Settings].
    + [Character Set] has been added in [System Settings].
    + [Theme Settings] has been added.
    + [Internet Browser Start Control] has been added as a security mode in [Security Settings].
    + WPA-PSK (TKIP) has been added as a security mode in [Network Settings].
    + Web address shortcut feature has been added as an input mode for the on-screen keyboard.

I mean come on.. how do they think they are going to get users to start torrents with this shit unless they add it to pirated software and what not. Not only that, but that would bring lawsuits if im not mistaken about what they are doing in their massive software campaign.

    the reminds me of the 3d only video cards where you needed to pick a good companion for your 3dfx card. Although 16meg was a bit much for just 2d at the time, its not a needed item in a pc (a video card with more than 64 megs of ram).

    I used to work for RR, and the majority of thier tech support is dont in canada. They have very large call centers there, however some people obviously are not american when you speak with them.

    We were listening to one call, and the lady is like, are you from canada? Tech says, did my accent give it away? She replies with, I dont know Eh?

    You had to hear it, one of the funniest things ive heard on the phone :)

    I wonder since it plays ncsofts city of hero's if Lineage 2 will run. I Went back to windows beceuase the games i did play were dx9 and wouldnt play (star wars galaxies, lineage2, guildwars (e3 for everyone).

    Look who owns h0tm@il. Seriously though, could you imagine the database beatings thier systems take? Im sure they have xx million email accounts on thier systems. If anyone here runs a server, you will know that even having a couple hundred people hitting a db (forum, cms, etc..) will hammer a db even on a decent machine. Most likely a raid failure, but of course, microsloth wont tell us anything more than "System Events"

    They will never be able to beat piracy, and have full proof copy protection. Why? Because there are SO many more of the hackers out there and most of these people are much smarter then the people developing this stuff.

    Take for example, why do you think alot of programs come out with updates every couple weeks? Because someone keeps cracking thier code. In todays world, its not hard to reverse engineer someone else's work, or to find a solution to get around someone else well thought plan to stop you from using thier software without paying.

    Hackers will ALWAYS win.

    When i worked for featureprice, most of the non phone based technical support was done from india. They are some smart people, but they are lacking in alot of things we take for granted. Our boss always happily let us americans know that he could hire 3 or 4 of them to each 1 of us. Hows that for making you take your job seriously? :) Too bad hes a bastard and should be rotting in jail as hes a scamming prick
